    For resizing, have you tried first clicking a pane to make the chat window active?

    Indeed, in a patch a while ago they made it so that you have to activate the pane before resizing. For the pane that does not have the input box for typing, this means clicking on the scroll bar (or the actual scroll bar up/down buttons, I don't remember which). You can then click-drag the borders like a normal window. (didn't watch the video so I don't know if that was tried or not).

    yes i've tride everything i click on it so it shows up. i can move it around i just can't grab the sides/corners to resize it. the video i put up in my first post shows exactly what happens
