Question about Tam-Tara HM screenshot

I always felt so bad for Edda. I hope she has a happy ending, I doubt she will but I hope she does. If you talk to the NPCs outside the dungeons they just all are so horrible to her. Even her own fiance seemed really harsh to her basically calling her slow and stupid. I get the feeling she was so used to the abuse and being told she cant do anything but couldnt bare the thought of being alone, which shows when that party disbanded and she cried for them not to leave her.

It's like she is trying to resurrect Avere because she doesnt realise how to stand on her own two feet

The irony of this is that it's suppose to reflect how a typical bad party falls apart...
... yet 50 levels later that doesn't change.

Why is she in a level 50 dungeon. She didn't learn raise at level 12 of didn't learn the trait at level 28 to raise during a battle to save her husband.

She solo fate grinded to 50. Duh.

I have to say this is likely going to be one of the saddest dungeons I will ever complete, due to the fact that you do have to fight a fallen Edda. She's the most similar thing to a new player that you can find in an NPC. We all make mistakes, and sometimes those mistakes cause a wipe, and if our characters were actual people in the world, like Avere (Edda's Fiance) we wouldn't be respawning. So it kinda hurts seeing this bright star filled with hope crashing down to the Necromantic arts after we inspired her

She was a hyur, if she'd been elezen Avere wouldn't have died. It's typical that a hyur would fall into the clutches of voidsent.

That's really sad and creepy. Dunno what is more sad in this trailer/patch Sultana crying or Edda. The place looks really evil and like a cave for satanists. I like that we see something creepy. Many times MMOs have really cute mobs around that we are suppose to kill lol. And when they put something creepy there are people who don't wanna go to those places because they can't stand of the mobs lol (mostly female gamers :P). I like it although cause we are suppose to kill those monsters. It's not nice when we kill pokemons in the woods is it? :P

That is exactly how I feel.

If i'm not mistaken I remember necromancy being part of one of the astral/umbral era's and it backfiring on the people who used it. I think it would be very interesting if necromancy came from whm/cnj. As I stated in my first post that it was the whm/cnj it wouldn't entice me if I didn't know of diablos and whm, but we havn't been told the whole story yet; diablos is returning in another dungeon and ect... and ampador is just a small part of a whole umbral era.

It came with the fall of Sil'dih if i remember correctly ( the sultana actually have forbidden necromancy potion, cf lvl 15 Ul'dah quest )

After reading this thread I feel really sad for Edda. I'm alot more interested in this dungeon now. I hate that I can't even find her as an NPC anymore. (Unless there was a place I missed) Wish I payed more attention too since the wiki says you can find her before Satasha and Tam Tara with her group. I remember her thanking you in Ul'dah but that was a long time ago. That said I'm alot more interested in this dungeon and the story with it. Even if its Tam tara. The dungeon you see about 80% of the time in the low level Roulette. >_>
