I don't think you read Camate's post, gear choice now falls under different playstyle. You'd be liable for harassment if you kicked someone for their gear choices. What you call uncooperative is different playstyle and goals. And dev rep has just told you they aren't forbidden. But kicking players for what equipment they wear, is. You can kick a DD if they refuse to do samage, or healer if they refuse to heal, of someone refusing to engage in battle. But you can't kick because you think they don't do enough damage or enough healing. If they're meeting dungeon minimum iLv and participating in the fights, they have the same right to be there as you.
You are allowed to leave the dungeon yourself tho, or Vote Disband.
I spiritbond in Duty Finder all the time. I also ask if I can join and spiritbond as Black Mage, White Mage, or Warrior whenever I plan to do Spiritbonding Party Finders. Most people are pretty cool about it, and the up-front honesty is appreciated.
If you want to ensure a SB-free duty, then use the party finder. Don't expect to be able to remove people's ability to make gil while grinding content if you are just queing in via the duty finder. More often then not, people with SB accessories generally have i90 or better in all major slots. That pushes the iLvl down to about 75 or so, which is still 20 ilvl's above the "requirement" to do expert duties.
It could be worse - you could get someone showing up in full DL & i60 jewellery. Can't really kick someone for not having better gear to equip - similarly you shouldn't be able to kick someone that decides to SB their accessories..
Continuing to use the Black Mage as the example... how is the i100/110 Black Mage supposed to control their Hate, when even a single Scathe (their weakest DPS spell) will put them straight into the Orange category of Hate while in a party with an i50/AF geared Tank?Well you have to see if the tank is genuinely in i50/AF gear. If it is genuinely a new 50 tank then I guess there is no choice but for the i100/110 DPS to control their hate a little. But if the tank is not new tank and does have the appropriate gears, then he should understand that he might need to change back, or at least change back some of it to have enough STR to generate enough hate to tank properly. This I agree.

~ Eternal Dawn FC ~ Male Player ~
That's like BLM wearing full ilv 39-45 CRAFTING gear, in Labyrinth...i asked him to put on something appropriate...he didn't until we constantly wiped (Labyrinth parties are shitty as hell nowdays) Next day, i saw him in his crafting set, in Labyrinth again.
Such gear is so easily SB at Urth's gift, so why would you go to CT with that crap? If you wanna SB in there, take at least ilv70 gear. for militia set, it's good to go castrum (so much mobs to kill, so much stuff to blow up, with cannons)
Let's just move on. They won't change it.
You can kick a player after you set the rules of agreement for the run. A GM can't do anything about player disputes. If someone got kicked, the majority wants him gone for not agreeing.
We have PF. Make a speedrun or spirit bond dungeon group there. Put it in the comment, off you go.
~790 damage fire 1s in 2.1, ~800 damage with right side accessories now. idk basic math checks out
How would you spiritbound ilevel70 and ilevel 90 gear if not in dungeons?
So long they use gear to spiritbound that fit the job and keep the ilevel about 10 ilevel over the require ilevel, it should be ok
Maybe SE could implement something that check every 10 minutes the ilevel of the partymembers and kick those who have ilevel lower than the require ilevel.

I often wonder if there's a contest somewhere to see who can complain the most loudly every week. I'm starting to see the craziest, silliest things for people to moan about and they're always aimed at the developers to "do something" and not the players who are the root cause of the issue they're annoyed with.
First of all, not everyone cares about speedruns. I sure as heck don't. Secondly, not everyone sucks in SB gear. If someone's running in full crafting gear THEN you have a right to complain. If they can continue to do their job while spiritbonding then kindly keep your mouth zipped and let them get on with it. Feel free to offer 'suggestions' or even leave if the mere sight of someone in any suboptimal gear gives you a gag reflex. It's not like you don't have options here.
@OP
I wear only x2 HQ crafting rings to SB in my duty finder runs, while I wait for queue to pop I farm mobs the normal way to SB it.
I've never come across any problems with it as I have more than enough gear and damage from my other items (mostly all High Allagan+110 weapon, jewels) to not be even remotely noticed. I'm also always the highest damage in my group so no one complains.
This topic again falls into the "You can't tell other paying customers how to play/what to wear" category.
