    A couple instances come to mind, like i previously stated about a rowdy FC member causing problems in the FC. But also what if 2 smaller FC's wanted to merge later on and get an upgraded Medium/Large house together? But in order to do so they would need to tear down their house and open that plot back up. But what if a member has a personal room and no longer play? If they cannot be booted the house cannot be torn down if that member has a room in the house right? And I'm pretty sure the FC would want to open the plot back up for someone else to use not just give a house to a member that is gone and wait 30+ days for it to retire on it's own for 'inactivity'.

    Ideally, SE should just make the price tag for a "Personal Room Unlock" and when/if a player leaves the FC it goes into "Escrow". Upon joining a new FC (and have whatever permissions given) your same room is now accessible in the new house.
    (in game, packed up and stored somewhere, metagame- personal room is instanced anyway so you just don't have access to it).

    If they can shrink airships to fit in our basement, they can shrink whole rooms to fit in our pocket! *shakes fist*

    My problem with the current system is that I really want a personal room, but I might have to leave my FC to join a new coil static (the need for which is a separate but huge problem) since my new real life job conflicts with my current static's schedule. I already hate that I have to go hopping around from FC to FC, but now I have to choose between a personal room and progression? They're both important to me!

    There is another problem. What if, upon kicking a player, their entire room gets obliterated? The other day our FC leader was trying to kick someone from the party (he went afk and we were replacing him) but accidentally kicked him from the FC because he was in the FC UI. It was a mistake, and the person was promptly reinvited, but when you're talking about hundreds of thousands of gil in 3-star furnishings, this kind of thing could cause a lot of problems in an FC.

    Furthermore, if an FC is trying to save up for an upgrade (as mine is trying to save for a mansion) will all of the personal rooms be lost along with the old house? What if someone has a lot of expensive furnishings, like the Manor instruments or Carbuncle set, but they aren't online to claim their belongings before the move?

    Square-Enix, I beg you to reconsider locking private rooms to FC houses. There are so many reasons why this is bad.
