How does glowing weaponry "ruin immersion"? Lots of things glow in the game.

There's more than just relic. Soldiery weapons when upgraded glow along with Levi weapons once upgraded and now the older primal weapons once 2.3 comes out. Basically every end game weapon that isn't Allagan glows once upgraded.Let me see if I understood...99.99% of the equipment + weapons do NOT glow...and you are complaining about the 0.01% that glow (relic weapons) and that CAN BE GLAMOURED just like anything else in this game in case you don't like them.
This...is...completely...ridiculous xD.
Off topic but now obligatory http://youtu.be/0MW9Nrg_kZU
allaghan weapons have a glowing effect too lol, the original allaghan weapons have a blue lazer-like etching , an the high allaghan weapons have red trim. all of the endgame weapons have some sort of fancy effect on them. you all begged for them to get rid of the glow after zenith, an instead they added many more... so ya'll go ahead an keep cryin lol see what SE does
The glow on the weathered and levi weapons is barely noticeable, I mean come on...we could argue the PLD/WHM Animus is flashy...but complaining about say Rosenbogen's aura is completely out of context. What I said...if you don't like the glow of those weapons you can glamour them, and if you don't like others with flashy weapons, you'll have to deal with it, because maybe others do LIKE those flashy weapons and I think they are at absolute right to wield them, as much as you have the right to not wield yours. Honestly I think it's common sense, I don't even know what are you asking for?
I agree I would like an option to toggle the glowy effects, I honestly can't stand them. And to the people saying "just glamour it" or "don't upgrade it" or w/e, what if lets say I like the way my artemis bow looks. So I work towards my animus and low and behold it glows -_-
I actually was like "yes!" when I got the atma and saw it doesn't glow, then when I saw animus does I was like "well guess I HAVE to glamour it or be annoyed by it". It would be preferable just to go into options and toggle the glow effect off so you don't HAVE to glamour something you actually like.
If you are soooooooooooooooooooo concerned about your weapon glowing (but still like your relic), how about...redoing your relic quest? xD. It doesn't even take one hour...3 silly HM primals, a few myths, and bam, you have your juicy i80 nonglowy relic. Admit it, nothing would ever please you.I agree I would like an option to toggle the glowy effects, I honestly can't stand them. I have the Glanzfaust. I really like how it looks. But once I upgrade it, it's gonna glow. I don't like the glow so I'm going to have to glamour it to not be annoyed by it. But I'm okay with some stuff glowing cause hey some people like it, this is why I asked for "Less" and not "Remove it all together".The glow on the weathered and levi weapons is barely noticeable, I mean come on...we could argue the PLD/WHM Animus is flashy...but complaining about say Rosenbogen's aura is completely out of context. But now EVERYTHING is getting a glow and I'm tired of seeing it. I asked for a toggle in a post before, no real response. Now I'm asking for more options for those who don't like this effect on everything and I don't want to restrict my glamour options to low level gear that mostly looks boring.
Do you really not understand or are you just so entitled you don't like other people's opinions?
You can't redo your relic quest. You have to buy it from the Calamity Salvager for over 50,000G. A steep price for just wanting your weapon to not glow.If you are soooooooooooooooooooo concerned about your weapon glowing (but still like your relic), how about...redoing your relic quest? xD. I don't think you can re-do the quest, but the weapon is available from the calamity salvager for some gil.If you are soooooooooooooooooooo concerned about your weapon glowing (but still like your relic), how about...redoing your relic quest? xD. Buy your base relic and lose quite a bit of DPS/healing...or the more obvious solution and letting us disable glowing/auras if we so chose? This community certainly loves dealing in extremes when someone presents an argument against something they like.
The designs are fine, some are just tired of "everything glows" when you upgrade your weapon fully.
