For what it's worth, aging of other races has always been in question. There was an Ul'dahn lalafell in 1.0 who said he'd been working the mines for something like 80 years, and he still looked the same age as the rest of the lalafells, lol.

I deduce Lalafells are clones. Once they're old, they just clone themselves.

I deduce that lalafells are longed lived, but have have been in contact with megic that caused then to not age after 8-10 years, hence their appearance of small children. Though certain things like facial hair and to a lesser extent, boobs can grow, their growth is stunted compared to other races so far. Meaning that a lalfell male with a gandalf-esque beard or a female lalafell with anything bigger than an A-cup would be anatomically impossible with what we've seen of the species so far.
Yes its sort of a crack theory and liable to get jossed by future patches, but right noew it seems plausible, more plausible than clones.

You do realize Alenore was joking. :V
(I think.)
Always remember, please be careful.

As someone who plays the game between Japanese and English, it always amazes me how different the English and Japanese texts can be. I don't mean the languages themselves but on how much information was being told between them. For example, the part on the Admiral's muskets used to be Mistbeard's is not in the Japanese version... Anyway.
When I first saw the cutscene, I simply assumed that they were hinting from something that was in 1.0 as I've never played it before. The way our character and Eynzahr exchanged glances really made me think that they know of each other and that our character either figured out or know of his past/real identiy. ...or maybe they were just doing the "heroes approving of each other glances" thing. ~_~;; But yes, from the flow of things, I would assume Eynzahr is either Mistbeard himself or someone who is very close to him.
What I am also curious about though, is the mention of "an old arcanist friend". I wonder if I can assume that this is referring to the arcanist guild master? In the Japanese texts, Eynzahr said it in a more of, pardon my rough translation: [["Well, I learned of it from an old acquaintance... a vagabond-ish arcanist."]]. As one that started out as an arcanist, I would really love to see more of my guild master, and especially even more so if it's main story.
As an extra, the Admiral said this in the Japanese version, after defeating Leviathan:
I would translate it as:しかし、あのような戦術があったとはな。
黒渦艦隊の編成を、今一度見直すべきかもしれん。
・・・・・・どこかの、「霧髭に妙に詳しい男」のおかげだな。
"Though, to think there's a battle strategy as such. It might be time to re-organize the Maelstorm fleet. ......thanks to a certain 'man who is strangely familiar with Mistbeard'."

I thought it might be worth dropping this here:

Tenuous at best, but we might get a little more insight with Hullbreaker Isle!

I'm not a fan of combat so usually stay away from dungeons and primals (unless needed for the story) but I'll definitely check out Hullbreaker in a couple of weeks if the iLvl requirements aren't too steep ^_^

But... All dungeons and primals have lore.

Maybe but combat just isn't my thing. I prefer taking my time, reading, crafting, gathering, etc. I'm on my first atma gathering journey at the moment and I'm getting to FATE's in time to read the lovely lore filled descriptions and then it's over before I land a single blow XD
Anyhow~
Does anyone know of any other references to this Slafyrsyn being or working for Mistbeard possibility in other quests or anything that people have noticed?

I personally think he was someone affiliated with Mistbeard at some point and not actually the man himself. Probably was a crew member on one of his ships at some point or something.
Not sure if Hullbreaker Isle will give any further clues as to this. I guess it depends on how far they flesh out the story, as this area was supposed to be where Mistbeard stashed all his treasure.
