Discovering it is not very hard (especially when we are given every map instead of buying or earning the maps)... Or you could simply have a friend teleport you to it.. one who has already discovered it. couldnt be anymore weak of a system.

Sorry for assuming you were staying on topic with the thread. Silly me.This is only one small part of it.. you really think im only talking about anima when i say all this casual play?
@Crica - People who don't know better will abuse the anima (as well as the other casual features being implemented), quickly get through the game and get bored. Have you not lived on this earth for more then 15 years? look around you, more then half the world doesn't know wtf they are doing on a daily basis, most of these people need to be told what to do in order to get through life safely. Unless we prevent it from happening, its going to happen. why cant we just put a quest in for? why? why cant we? why wont you answer that question? you dont want more questing? Its not like the quest has to have a boss at the end of it with 99999 Health or something before you can have 100+ anima. Its just a creative way in giving us anima as well as something to do in game. why do you keep ignoring this? why?
I do not agree that "discovering" need be hard, it is already time consuming - be more interesting, sure!
I do agree that being able to port via a group member without "discovering" the aetheryte could be removed and would still work fine.

Conspiracy theory much?with the way things are going soon you will be accruing 20 anima a day and then 100 a day... and some how you will find a way to accrue 101 a day even though you can only hold 100. they are already making return cost 0 anima.. how lame is that? Nobody goes into a dangerous zone without having to escape OR DIE.. that's simply lame.
if discovering dosnt need to be hard then why do it at all, why don't they just give it to us?

This is Anima travel: Uldah (check leves)> loading screen > Limsa (finish craft)> loading screen(Ferry: whats the point of me?) > Camp Horizon ( kill leve mobs jus around camps) > Uldah > Logout.
This is Outpost Travel: obtain outpost in a high lvl area, Uldah > port to home nation > Limsa > run to the OP npc, pay a set amount of gil depending on location > port to the OP of that place(which is no where close to no where near a Camp) > run to camp.
OP travel combines both porting and a bit of travelling. which is very balanced, imagine adding chocobo to the mixture.
by no mean i would suggest travelling from windy to dunes on foot(other than first time) but just instantly porting to selbina to do a quest and porting back to jeuno in less than 1 min is boring.
Goodbye, Final Fantasy...
If getting to lvl 2 doesn't need to be hard, why do it at all? If buying new gear isn't going to be hard, why do it at all? If eating breakfast isn't going to be hard, why do it at all? /troll
Difficult =/= fun. Not EVERYTHING needs to be a challenge before it can be enjoyed and worth doing. If your only method of entertainment is being challenged, then that's your problem.
