What I am getting doesn't seen to be "lag spikes" It's a consistent chop. My FPS in in uldah is constantly 20-30.

Also, I tried different drivers for my GTX 460. 260.99 and 270.01. Same problem.

What do you mean Chop? like your Char is moving like paper once in the while?

Sep 7, 2010 post so that when it was open beta and it was really bad. Like i said the game really gone bad when they had that 6hour shut down to fix the Char roll back. Try and roll back your divers too march/ april version then try it out i know that the time that they fix most issue.

You may have to wait for 1.18 to see if the issue was really SE or your PC. But right now looking at your spec you should not have issue.

I'm running

3870 256bit 512MB
3Core "AMD" 2.60ghz
4GB DDR2

And i run everything on

Drawing Quality- Standard "Can play high but there not much diff"
Background Drawing Quality "Can also run high but not much diff
Texture Quality=High
Texture Filtering=Highest

Everything else is off I don't like shadows in game so i have that off.

And i was getting before that 6hour shut down 40FPS in city and 60FPS outside. Now am getting lag spikes of 1-15fps in city and 35FPS and lower in city but i stay a nice 50-60 outside but sometime get a lag once a blue moon.

Question do you have lag 24.7? or only for a short time.

even with everything and settings on low, i get the same problem.
It's 24/7..

However I think i found the issue. My CPU temp was idle at 70C without the client running. I changed my Power Plan mode to Power saver, and now it's dropped down to 42C.

I feel like an idiot. I'll report back soon and let you know if it fixed it.
