Solution is simple. Since there won't be actions taken upon disputes of cutscenes, kick the new guy just before the final bossfight.

This way, the new guy will have watched all the cutscenes and the next one he runs, he can actually experience the battles.

Please do this to another player so SE can ban you for exploiting the VK system...please since FF14 needs less players like you in it!!!!!

Calling that bluff right there with a quote from before

Thank you for contacting FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn In-game support.

We understand the impact that is caused after being removed from a duty finder group. However, please be aware that the Game Masters will be unable to take action if a group member has been removed due to a player dispute, or if the game style differs (I.e. skipping in-game cutscenes, disagreement on using specific boss encounter tactics, equipment deemed not high enough, etc.),

To prevent such incidents from occurring we advise to speak with the group when joining a new group to discuss any specifics that need to be addressed.

OPneedNerfs, please like I stated before.....test that assumption at your own leisure if you like and then you will find out what happens when you harass another player for either being new or learning the game. Anyone who thinks VKing a player for watching cutscenes or learning a fight are the bane of a positive gaming community which only erodes the enjoyment of the game for all players.

If you actually bothered to read the OP, they actually let the OP watch his valuable cutscenes until the last fight before kicking because he did not contribute much to the completion of the dungeon. He even admitted himself with this jewel right here:

I am not going to experience a game or any game in small proportions. It ruins everything.
At least the players in his group allowed him to watch the cutscenes all the way TO THE END before kicking. The OP is overreacting and being a kid really. It's a lower level of frustrating similar to having someone in the group fall off titan right at the start and claiming loot at the end of the fight.

    1. OP got to watch his cutscenes, all the way till the end.
    2. OP ignored the other players asking him to not watch cutscenes, so they responded in kind by not wasting their own time and going ahead with fights.
    3. OP is unhappy he got kicked because he did not contribute enough to the completion of the dungeon.

It's almost as if you players on the EN servers don't wish to complete content when you queue for the DF. DF has one purpose and one purpose only, which is to help you form a group from a bigger pool of players from different servers to aid in the completion of said content. Obvious with this being an MMO, your time < their time and their time < your time. Your time = their time. Watch cutscenes if you will, if your party is nice, they'll let you watch it. If your party is even nicer, they'll let you get a free ride to complete the dungeon with you doing nothing at all right till the end other than watching cutscenes. Else, it's either a kick at the start(this is the worst case obviously) or kick at the end(where you actually got to view ALL the cutscenes up till the final boss).

Now, if the new player was only wanting to go in to view the cutscenes for their first time for the immersion, he already got his goal as he got to watch the cutscenes uninterrupted. The next time he goes in, assuming he got kicked like the OP in the previous run, he can actually skip the cutscenes now and do the battles for the other part of immersion.

tl;dr you can't have your cake and eat it too.

OP, I will say one simple statement, report the elitist players for their violation....then enjoy the knowledge that they will eithier be suspended for a period of time hence they lose RL money for their stupity, or if they do it enough they will get banned and lose over 8 months of work they put into the game and lose more money on top of that if they prepaid the game......that's all you gotta do!

Which if the knowledge that those actions were taken gets out will drive other players away, make some not queue for mainstory, drive up queue times, make new players think the population is low because of insanely long queue times, and be extremely harmful to the game. Great plan. Remember that every action will have many unintended consequences. This plan has enough negative consequences to drive the game f2p.

Great logic and thought process.
I would rather wait in que for a hour to help other players learn the game with positive people than spend 1 min in que with elitist jerks who think they are something special because of some video game when clearly they are not......

Oh my god can people actually read the thread they're replying to and stop posting nonsense? It's been pointed out several times that GMs do not punish people at all with an actual quote from a GM saying that they do not mediate player disputes. You are in fairy land if you think GMs are anywhere near as harsh as vindictive people wish they were.

Clearly written when you initiate a Vote Kick:Please be warned that unjustified usage of vote dismiss is a punishable act. If you also read: http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...8&id=5382&la=1, it also tells you what those punishments are. So it is not about GM's being vindictive people, its about fair play and regulations set down by SE in regards to player conduct.
