See, and that's what PvP is supposed to be about. The way I see it, there are two main types of players. You have PvPers, who are players who enjoy the competition of fighting their opposing players on equal footing, where gear is irrelevant and skill is everything. Then you have players who just want massive gear disparities so they can faceroll newer players without any threat to their own well being. It is, after all, called "Player versus Player", not "Invulnerable God versus Fresh Meat", which is inevitably what gear disparity does. This even ties into the whole supposed no morale in Frontlines. Personally? I'm 100% on board with that, because it means everyone is going to be on equal footing. The people who are complaining about morale not being a thing quite frankly only have one reason to be doing so. They want to be able to faceroll people. There's literally no other reason you'd need morale to be a thing. If you wanted equal competition, you'd be fine with morale not being present in frontlines.

I can't help but chuckle whenever I see wintraders trying to say that things should stay the way they are and the gear shouldn't be easy to obtain. To me, that just says "Don't let other players get the gear I have, because then they'll be on the same level as me and I won't be able to faceroll them anymore."

I can understand the armor being a sign of achievement, sure. I can agree with it even giving a marginal boost to statistics over people who don't have it, but it shouldn't be as huge of a disparity as it currently is. PvP (to me, anyways) has always been about equal footing and competition. I'd rather my skill be challenged instead of my gear.

False. I want Morale to be in frontlines for the principle of the fact that pvp gear should be used in pvp. They're making pvp gear worse by not allowing frontlines. I worked hard to get the pvp gear that I have, and now I gotta go spend some myth on pve gear to be on even footing. It's not because i want to faceroll others, its because they gave us soemthing to work towards then ripped it away.
