For Warrior tanking (when you don't severely out-gear the content) start your pulls with tomahawk, run past the mobs, then turn around and throw down 2-3 overpowers. This will put plenty of hate on you and but the mobs' backs to the other party members. Having their backs to the party helps melee DPS do max damage and makes sure most of the AOEs will not be in their direction.

Marking the kill order can be useful, but only half the people in roulettes will follow it anyway. If they aren't following the marks, save yourself the hassle and just try to attack what the DPS are attacking.

Be flexible. A good leader isn't necessarily the boss. I'd rather clear a dungeon slowly or chaotically than sit around bickering or wiping out of stubbornness.

I would strongly disagree with just letting them do whatever. Instead, inform them that if they attack out of order and pull aggro, they have to tank that mob.

Convalescence only works with healing magic. It doesn't work with abilities.
