RMT, got better but still needs work...

Rmt spamming has definitely gotten better over the past months, but, it could still get better.
A lot of the times when logging in for the night, one of the first tells I'll receive isn't from friends its RMT spam. And there really has been less of it due to the addition of the add to blacklist feature in the game, but I (in my own personal opinion) think more can be done.

SE should have GM's for every server monitoring for RMT, and other harrassment issues for one thing.
Adding a feature where the add to blacklist also reports the person that was just blacklisted.
Also I think that if you blacklist someone on one character it should be account wide, (if you have multiple characters.)

    Any thoughts?

Yup, RMT tells would be even less if people bothered to report them

Agreed, until they add an easy method to report them by clicking on their name I will be /busy. The existing method takes too long and I don't want to spend a long time managing my blacklist.

That is one way, but, that alienates anyone else on your friends list being able to contact you as well.

It should make it so that if there's enough people who block someone in a given time frame, then they're auto blocked from sending tells until further investigation.

How many times does this suggestion have to be made before they either respond to it and say "It's a dumb idea: here's why." or "That's brilliant! We're gonna work out the kinks and implement that soon."??? If it's a player or RMT, and they get /blisted by one hundred people in an hour, how could we not (in the 21st century moreover) simply temp ban them from all communication for 24 hours or something like that?

This is much too costly and would require a lot of extra work and effort. I think a better solution is to implementing a system which restricts the ability to send tells if you have sent X amount of tells to X amount of people in X timeframe, and even flag their account for further investigation. The system itself wouldn't be too difficult to implement and would be much less of an effort than GM's on every server monitoring for RMTs.

Understood on the cost issue, but honestly, wouldn't it be worth the cost, time, and effort?

The cost, time, and effort put in wouldn't be equal to the fact they can just keep creating characters and accounts. Automation of restricting and flagging would be best. Don't get me wrong, there's issues with automating, as it could pick up someone who actually isn't an RMT. But that's why they could just flag the account maybe email an alert. They will still need to review the account of course which is not automated, otherwise, any false positives could get the ban hammer.
