They're apparently of the "Poison" Element... Which technically isn't an element...

Well she could be a water and wind mix really. I mean she comes from the water. I mainly remember her from FFVIII, the clip shows he on a rock amoung the sea, something like that.

it seems that in couple of games its 2ndary wind based(no actual wind attack but wind based ability) and in 1 game(FF12RW) have a sort of water attack, also even tho she sings in FF8, she is like coverd by water around her :P

Yeah it could be non-elemental, but status inflicting attacks does have a elemental base to it, well in most FF series anyway.

Poison - Water
Paralyze, Bind - Ice
Stun - Thunder
Slow - Earth
Sleep - Dark
Song - Light

missing anything else? other than elemental debuff like choke,drown etc.
