Every time I catch myself healing in Cleric Stance I die a little bit inside.

Every time I catch myself healing in Cleric Stance I die a little bit inside.
Here is a honest question I keep forgetting to test.
Does Cleric really effect Medica/Refresh or only Cure?

Cleric Stance affects ALL cures aside from Lustrate (since it's a flat 25% ignoring all healing penalties/bonuses). I play scholar sometimes, and I rarely leave Cleric Stance. I just spam Lustrate if the tank is starting to get low lol.
Edit: Mind you, I only really play scholar in dungeons. If I was doing some end-game coil, it would be a different story of course.
Well, it affects EVERYTHING to some degree since it swaps Mind and Int so.... I guess I have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, I'm glad the stance exists so white mages can have some semblance of self-sufficiency. On the other hand, it's implemented so badly that it is ONLY really useful for those times.
To the OP: I don't see anywhere that you stated the group wiped, just that the tank's HP was dropping below what was apparently YOUR comfort level. As the apparent DPS in the group, don't you think that your job is to worry about killing monsters and not what the tank and the healer are doing? If the group isn't wiping and the tank herself isn't complaining, who are you to "Educate" the rest of the team?

So, its perfectly normal to spam healing spells while in cleric stance? I was reminding, not "EDUCATING".Well, it affects EVERYTHING to some degree since it swaps Mind and Int so.... On Bray SR most reason why the cleric stance still on is because:
1. Trying to turn it off but fail because press/click it while casting spell.
2. Click it twice to turn it off that make it lock Cleric stance for 5sec until can turn it off again.
3. Still have benediction.
4. Totaly forgot.
5. Lag and can't turn it off.
6. Just totaly confidence can keep tank alive with claric stance on.
7. Pet can cover the heal for tank at the time.
8. Play while eating and only use 1 hand.
Actualy aslong still can keep tank alive it doesn't matter, if the tank die just blame the tank lmao.

No, you were busy watching someone else instead of doing your own job. If you seriously think that as healers we don't know the difference between a cleric stance heal and a non cleric stance heal, you might want to play your conjurer more often. If the player felt he could keep the tank up as things were and the tank didn't die, then it's not ANY dps's place to criticize, regardless of whether you have a level 50 healer or not.
There's nothing more obnoxious than someone on a dps job telling the healer and tank what they are "Doing wrong" when the dungeon is going perfectly fine. If the tank was dying multiple times and the team was discussing why, that's when you bring up the healer using cleric stance as a possibility. Otherwise, you just look like a tool for first mentioning it, and then watching the healer's actions instead of your own to "prove" you were right. If you are so worried about healing, get back on your conjurer.

I have at times forgotten; sometimes I attack without cleric stance on, is that just as bad, or not as bad? Mainly if there's a second to do such a thing but not enough time to really be switching back and forth between stances. I guess the question is, if in those situations my MP never drops to anywhere near 50% or even 75%, no one gets anywhere near close to dying, is it really a big deal, or not?
I'm not questioning anyone, but as someone relatively new to FFXIV I want to do whatever will annoy the least amount of people. But for the record, I never intentionally heal with cleric stance on, I feel pretty silly when I realize that I have been!

I remember something similar happened to me while I was dual tanking Hydra with a Warrior.
The WHM left Cleric Stance on and right before the Warrior pulled, I said "Cleric Stance is on" to try to remind the whm to disable it. About 30 seconds later into the fight, I see the whm spam casting Cure2 with Cleric Stance still on trying to keep us alive with low potency heals from the Cleric Stance being on. I assumed he didn't see what I said so I said "Cleric Stance is on" 5 more times in party chat. The other healer in our group got defensive and said "Wow... I'll turn it on if you keep spamming like that..." I'm like wtf? I said "Well I saw him healing with it on" Then the other healer says "Oh... Well that might be that's a little different then".
I said I was sorry for spamming but if it was left on for the whole fight without him knowing, things would have gotten very messy fast. People need to stop getting defensive over reminders and helpful advice. I know it's a little insulting sometimes taking advice from people who aren't even your job but sometimes it means the difference between a smooth run and an unnecessary wipe.
