I didn't say it will prevent any errors whatsoever. I said it solves typos in most cases, which you know to be true.

There's no unsolvable auto-programming compiler that types shit by himself, although that would be really awesome. I also never said testing is useless, I said that if their testing is such a problem they might want to take a look at it. And I said it several times, but people like to grossly exaggerate what someone else says in order to attack them.

On a side note, SQL, xHTML, PHP and CSS are not programming languages, so you can't really "program" in them. But I'm sure that's just a typo.

No, I'm pretty sure you were talking up your great ability to program and easily find errors, implying you were somehow better than SE's programmers, until he called you out on it.

While this is true, there are many ways a program can just outright not work as intended. I've taken a few programming courses so I'm by no means a professional but even programming something simple can take days. Even something as simple as a misplaced or forgotten } (depending on the language) can throw off a lot of things.

One thing you also have to realize is that new people were brought in to work on the game. Going through someone else's coding and trying to make sense of it multiplies most of the problems involved with programming, especially if the original programmer didn't leave enough notes in there or if it wasn't organized very well.

    To take your words exactly:

errors don't happen because of a typo or a wrong line of code anymore
Stop saying you said things you didn't say.

No I wasn't, but please keep exaggerating what I said because you like to antagonize just for the sake of it.

That is what I said, try any modern compiler and type a function incorrectly, it will tell you that it was typed incorrectly most of the time.

First off I would like to say "Another /facepalm thread"

Secondly, If I strictly recall.. They said that "after" the 1.18 patch is Implemented, the the Patches that Follow will come quicker in Succession?

1.18 is the Base of the Foundation in which they are Creating.. Starting it off bad.. will only result in the Tumbling of the Pyramid and star of scratch all over again in which I know NONE of us want. They want to make sure that this Patch will function on all angle 100% or dam close to it as possible.

You start the tower bad could leave other patches crooked on the Base and fall over. Who's to say they aren't working on 1.19 along with 1.18 just only putting out 1.18 right now and then 2 weeks later could see 1.19? Now I'm not say it will be like that but I merely stating what SE said and so far I haven't seen him mistaken yet.. in fact he's DOING his job to make sure this patch comes out right.

Let them get the base of the Foundation "Near" Perfect for crying out loud... =)

Edit: And they also said this Might I add:

    - (Earliest) <---- Keyword Mid June
    - (Latest and Confirmation date Granted could be 1-2 days late)<---- Keywords Mid July ( which is Borderline from mid to late) ( and Because he spoke of the Release date of it)

This is the Essences when people Nitpick at what people say.. it gets Misinterpreted and people expect omg its coming out on this month ( when that wasn't the true wording) Just sayin'

Please read everything in its entire before having a heartattack...

either that or Comprehend it more clearly...

Anyways I believe in you Yoshi-P!

No please tell me because I really don't understand why you keep insisting on this.

Jee grasping at straws sure is fun. I apologise for the fallacy in that one sentence I typed, are you happy? Can we talk about the patch/letter now?

I think the last thing we need to be doing is fighting amongst ourselves everyone! I know we are frustrated and bored but it seems like actual fans fighting actual fans at this point.

Lets all put our egos aside and just be glad that we actually have a date! ^^
