Has anyone looked at bard gear 4 right pieces have a shitton of Skillspeed
Has anyone looked at bard gear 4 right pieces have a shitton of Skillspeed
Which is stupid btw. I'm only getting gear for my bard that has crit on it. So my bard will never go by ilvl 105 but I'll be a crit machine... Muahahahaha

I get accuracy from Noct, so that's kind-of all that matters. I literally don't care about any other stat on a piece of endgame gear other than Defense/Magic Defense. Parry is okay, Strength is fun to have, Vitality obviously has its uses, Skill Speed is always enjoyable, Determination is decent enough.
But for me, ever since I have shamed myself in T4 with a Bravura Zenith and Labyrinth gear by missing 90% of all of my attacks as a tank, accuracy is the main stat I get concerned about.

When you think about it logically, what is the point of gathering together the ilvl 100 gear? To try and tackle the end-game content correct? Being the 2nd Coil. If you aren't doing this type of content, the gear and its stats really have no relevance to whatever it is you're doing.
Take for example doing Ex. Primals or Normal Coil. If you went in with full ilvl 100 gear you would have a significant advantage just from the extra Main Stat alone, along with the added vitality which will help you survive longer in the case of a mistake. On the other hand these fights also have One-Hit Wonder kill mechanics, and no amount of gear is going to help you from getting thrown off the edge in Ex. Titan, or avoiding a Twister during Twin.
While the secondary stats are useful, unless you have an abundance of them, typically 80 to 100+ of that stat, you won't notice enough of a difference for it to matter. That extra 30 to your main stat will make a far bigger difference then the low amount of Det/Crit you just lost. If all you plan to do is farm for your Relic Weapon, Fates, Brayflox, and Ex. Primals, there isn't really any reason to gather together the ilvl 100 gear except to make said content easier. Secondary stats shouldn't even be a factor.

secondary stats are rubbish compared to main stat. ilv 100 accessories are better than melded 90 accessories. only good part about melded 90 accessories, is that you can do str+vit, or such; most of the time it's not even needed anyway.
I used food with 15 whatever det....it did noting to my DPS. i drop an accessory, and DPS drop by 20.
so if you dropped all you accessories, your DPS would drop by 100. if you added 150 crit, you'd get measly 7,5% increase in crit chance.
And since there are no ilvl 90 craft accessories the problem is solved.
