Crystal Tower 1st Time Tank Tips?

Ok - ran CT dozens of times, wanted to try my first go as a tank. Can someone let me know if this kind of makes sense:
Bone Dragon - OT tank skeletons far from dragon, kill repeat
Atomos - tank ads closer to platform for dps to kill, is there a tank for Atomos himself?
Thanatos - if invisible I can tank him, if not grab a floating sister thing right?
Vassago - seems simple, no questions
Behemoth - MT tanks him, another tank iron giant, rest on platforms - what do they do there? Interact with switches or something? If so, do they also run down and hide behind comet during big attack or are they okay up there? Never noticed.
Good odds I won't be MT any of this, tips for OT in CT would be greatly appreciated. As War will I leave Defiance on or might than mess with aggro for MTs?

Speaking as someone who's cleared as all three roles...

Bone Dragon: Pretty much. However be -careful-, you need to pull each skeleton to a different "spoke" of the battle area. You also need to be quick on the aggro grab because you'll have to contend with trigger-happy DPS, trolls trying to botch the run, and other tanks assuming they're supposed to be getting it. Honestly this is easily the worst part. And -definitely- keep Defiance on for this one.

Atomos: Usual strat is one tank grabs each add as it spawns and drags it in range of platform, while the other goes balls-out DPS on Atomos. If you're grabbing the adds keep Defiance on and be ready to mess with Dira's casting if need be (and point the Valefors horizontal so they don't cleave or tail-swipe the pad); if you're on Atomos drop Defiance and just axe him as many questions as you can think of.

Thanatos: That's about the size of it.

Vassago: If you're OT, drop Defiance and just slash the hell out of it, and when balloons and napalm spawn slash those instead. If you're MT, pretty obvious.

Behemoth: The four tanks who aren't bashing KB and the giant are managing four electrical towers that are generating the Electrocution debuff during the fight. You'll need to interact with the tower every time you see it charge up; if you don't the Electrocution damage goes up and there may be periodic Shock AoEs. And you definitely do have to hide behind the comets like everyone else. Beyond that, just pop a beer and enjoy the fireworks.

And since you didn't mention him... Acheron is the same as always. Forget about Defiance unless alliance asks you to MT him, and just don't stand in any of his many varieties of floor candy.

Good luck man, here's hoping you get a decent group.

For Acheron I often stay behind on "Bait" for the hands

... I keep forgetting that's a thing. Mostly because I've been sticking to SCH for CT runs recently. But yeah, it might also be a good idea to stand near the pad (though obviously not -in- the fire) so that the Iron Claw attacks you and not, say, a healer or a low-geared DPS.

    All this.

Bone Dragon: get dem skellies and pull em away, you can place one per platform and they are spaced just right. Don't forget to grab the eyes that pop on last phase. They has that nasty petrify.

Atomos: Usually I grab all mobs, keep em about midway between plats so Atomos folks don't get any aoe, and dps platformers can get their dps on. Careful whith them stack as they cannont occupy the same space, so they will slide around, sometimes resulting in less than ideal placement.

Thanatos: Yea tank invis, grabs ladies when solid.

Vissago: IF MT, tank and spank, move clockwise when he puts down the fire puddle. Then when it dissappears, run back to your start position. If OT, smack dat azz, get on bombs right away. Also at mt, don't let them get to close together, or bomb in middle gets HUGE!

KB: Tower duty: click it when it's electrified, Hide behind comet for meteor. OT, giant duty, Spawns are on N for first, E for second and S for third. Handle em. When I am on Giants after I settle them I like to move to the right an position them to where their back are at an angle facing in. This way when charbydis pops he is already out of the tornado and dps doesn't have to worry about dmg or too much adjustment. Hide behind comet on Meteor. ON KB duty, Tank and spank. Move out of his cone, etc, get behind comet for Metor.

Acheron: Tank and spank as MT, avoid cones and use def cd's if needed. OT I just sit there as chester bait. When it comes time for giants and claw behind magi-wall, I get aggro on them with my back to the magi-wall.

    Thats it.

Also not mentioned but I am sure you know, in first room , face them dragons to the center so the tails are to the outside, no tail swipes for all! The eye move doesn't have a large range but the tail does, you will get a lot of s**t if you mpk peeps with bad positioning there.

    Hope it helps

WAAAAAAIT, you guys are forgetting the toughest part of the run! The first pull. DO NOT turn Valefor's buttcheeks towards the alliance. If you accidently do, WELL, YOU BETTER STUN THAT SHIT. Or hope somebody else stuns it.
So many tanks forget to learn this little detail.
