Holy cow, i didint even know you could do it in dungeons XD.
Time to lv Armorer goldsmith and blacksmith....not enough things made of leather or wood on my mnk lol
I was gone for 3 months, what did they change?

1 Dark matter for 1 repair. It add +100% and you can't repair if it is at 100% or higher. So i don't know what you mean with 2 DarK matters and 2 repairs. You can't compare it like this though as to get 199% (-ish) status you'd need to use two dark matters in two repairs plus you need still to purchase (or exchange for GC seals - either way it's not free) the dark matters for repairs. Still - self repair was always cheaper and gil saving - I've never used NPC repairs. And this "Penny pinching" (which is actually 30 - 65% saving on each repair!) will add a lot over time ...

No - you can't repair items at 100% - indeed it needs to be at 99% or less (but that's not what I was claiming here). If you want to "fully" repair to 199% - as that what was the original comment from Meshico about - from (almost) 0% you'd need to repair it once to (or slightly above) 100%, then wear it down to 99% and repair again (using another dark matter) to achieve 199% - what's not to understand here? The point was that repairing to 199% percent is not cheaper or more benefitial then previous selfrepair to only 100% (indeed only if repaired from almost 0% which I've always did anyway).
Also added repairing without changing to a crafting class. which is the best part of the patch.
Thanks SE this is epic! has made my life so much easier! Now please let us repair gear for other people so we can offer on the spot repair services for a small fee to those who have not levelled crafts![]()

It's officially convenient to the point where I don't hate it.
While it only happened to me a couple of times, no more being in a dungeon and seeing all your accessories drop below 10%, wondering if you'll be able to get through it in one piece :X
I love this change. Can fix gear whenever/wherever I want![]()
