It'll take about 3 weeks to rank 1-6 if you just do dailies & fates & gc dailies.

If you specifically craft stuff for GC turn-ins, it's easily doable within a day. It took me about 7-8h to 1-6 via GC turn-ins.
It's going to take a little bit longer (and cost a wee bit more) now that they've adjusted the HQ point rate with 2.28, but it should still be doable in about 12-14h.
If you're at the point you can make 3m in 2 days, you've nothing to worry about.

So this is doable by just one person? My friend is out of the country and our FC is at rank 2 right now, would be fun to surprise him with it being at rank 6 when he returns.

Also crafting HQs helps, use auto craft to make shit while you're afk.
