    New Item Type: "Vanish" Gear

    Hey folks! So one of the biggest problems with the current glamour system is not being able to omit certain appearances altogether, if not to simply show off some skin in one area, then to disable its appearance so other items in the same region of the body can show (i.e. Chest Slot items overriding appearance data for necklaces/bracelets, Hand Slot items overriding appearance data for bracelets/rings, etc.)

    So why not have some kind of invisible gearset that disables appearance data for certain pieces of armor? It could be made out of an item like "Wispwoven Silk" or something.

    If not that, then maybe make it easier to determine which pieces of chest/hand gear override necklaces/bracelets/rings appearance-wise or something. I dunno.

    You do realize you can go to the MB now and "try on" pieces of gear, right? This would allow you to find pieces of gear that don't override other pieces as you are wanting.

    But then you run into the people that can't stand any of the necklace models at all and would like to omit the appearance.

    I vote for a simple check box next to the specific item slot like just about every other MMO does so you can omit the display of any piece of gear if you wish.

    This is very true, I am not a fan of any necklace in the game.

    Seconded! Not a fan of jewelry in general, but earrings look massive on my Lalafell. Would prefer not to display them at all.
