It's possible, but would require a tremendous amount of work.


FFXIV uses very low poly character models, designed to have the lowest topology possible for each particular body shape/style, the enitre body mesh would require a complete overhaul in order to do this.

Regarding body shape and body hair, I always thought they should have at least a set number of pre configured options for those things, similar to the face options. They could have different thicknesses and proportions (like our face type options) and hairiness/tattoo options (just like our current facial hair and scar options for faces). Maybe 4 options of each type (shape and details, so 8 total) per gender per race or something.

Also, backs need a hair option, don't forget that!

Lastly, the lala FSH guild leader needs chest hair. It would just suit him so well ^_^
