    Idea for 8 man dungeons/alliances (after E3 thoughts)

    After E3 I was thinking that they could add a system (non-DF/non-Roulette/non-new dungeon) were a premade group of 8 ppl could enter the current hard dungeons ilvl sync'd to the minimal ilvl requirement. I feel this would be a big help for FC's to help new members in gearing and getting ready for new content while still getting myth (potentially reduced) without too many tweaks.

    With alliances a similar system could be used (CT is scheduled to allow premade alliances so I am not referring to that). As an example could have primal ex fights alliance doable with the same ilvl sync rules and similar restrictions. (can't complete weekly quest in this manner, no soldiery/current "best" token, etc) I wont "add" Coil in here since that system itself is and should remain the 8 man "raid" system. But these are just namely ideas i think would work as FC based.

    You mean put 8 people in a 4-man dungeon? even with ilvl sync you have double the man power that was originally intended. I didn't realize there were people still having problems with outdated content?

    the lvl sync would have to be something like i49 (disabling some of your powerful skills) to make them even remotely difficult for double the people

    That would stop me from running them unless the reward was super good. If I'm SCH I lose sacred soil and lustrate. If I'm a WHM I lose more than half my mp. Its why I hate running AV since that 1 level makes such a big difference.
