You know those people are just having fun. SE already said they're doing all the things anyway that the riots are about. No need to create your own version of a "this or riot thread" that's essentially what you did, only towards the players.

People are really rude to one another in the NA community, I am considering xferring out to JP and dealing with lag so that at least I won't understand all the rude comments if they have the same toxicity.

It's just a game, please lighten up, it's not real life, and the people asking for things aren't hurting Dev, if anything they're helping the Dev team.

Yoshi can go back and say to finance YO!!! LOOK AT ALL THIS DEMAND, LOOK AT THIS POTENTIAL, MORE $$$ MORE DEVS PLEASE TY. He can go make his own More funding for FFXIV or riot thread.

FYI I'm a software developer, I speak from experience. Consumer demands help me get more bandwidth for projects, it's a fact of the business.

That's also, true, but the demand for changes to my product in real life actually give me the fuel to argue with our finance teams to get more lifeblood.

I know a lot of the threads are actually rude don't get me wrong, but there's no need to try to suppress a hungry gaming community, if anything you should be helping them.

SE is showing earnings from FFXIV (last I read), let's continue to get them those earnings for the game franchise we all love.

Did you know FFXIV ARR's success (as well as Bravely Default)caused SE to reconsider it's abandonment of JRPG's????

Also, not to be snide, but the Community Reps sift the content and then carry things to R&D.

They remade the game because people demanded the first game to be revised. The customer must be right because FFXIV ARR have way more subscribers than before ARR. People can request what they want.

It bumps other, more relevant, threads off the front page. And, as most people are aware, no one ever looks at page 2 or beyond on the internet.

So because the "Internet" doesn't know how to use page 2 they will miss all of these so called relevant threads? Sounds like it is the loss of the users who can't click the number 2 and not the fault of the rioters. The rioters believe their thread is relevant who are you to tell them it isn't?
