I lost interest in the stream the minute they announced Ninja; Silly class.

First impressions, try spelling it slowly several times until the right switches click in.
Developers didn't give a single reason why they need to add NIN DPS and why we need to play it. How the game will be better with it around? I see nothing of value in this "Please look forward to it".
what in the world.... why is ninja needed? is SE only suppose to add things to the game that are "needed?" no. of course not. they add things in that the players want. (purchasable fantasia, anyone?). based on your logic, SE should never add any new classes/jobs because there is no "need" for them.First impressions, try spelling it slowly several times until the right switches click in.

Im genuinely looking forward to it.
But I'm annoyed they didnt bring a new tank or DOM, would've been nice if they balanced out the tallys first.
These new classes are slated for Patch 2.4, and 2.3 isn't even here yet. There's still PLENTY of time to reveal more new classes if there are any. Rogue and Ninja were some of the classes both the devs and players were most excited about, so that's why they got first reveal.
With tanks being a needed class, and the DPS pool already quite substantial, why would they NOT add a new Tank (and in doing so a new Support [Gunner] and Healer) class?
Besides, where you find Ninjas, you'll usually find Samurai.
And I'm calling it now: We just might see Red Mages/Dark Knights when we finally get to see Ishgard/Dravania.

3.0 => Ishard => 4.0 Dravania?

I think someone is just upset that Ninja won't be turned into a blink tank again.

Wasn't it stated somewhere in there that Ninja will be a high skill, high reward playstyle? We'll probably see lots of bad ninjas, but the ones that are excellent at what they do should stand out as well.
I predict both horror stories of "Oh god please no what are you even doing" and victorious tales of "Oh man, did you see what I just did?"
You know, a lot like EVERY OTHER JOB IN THE GAME. People need to stop flipping their tables, sit down and patiently wait for these things to come out before judging them.
