    I wouldn't expect the distribution to imply DPS checks. It's more likely that they designed it to not require more than 3 tanks to ease the DPS queue.

    Why wouldn't it? CT 1 mechanic revolved around having two tanks, why wouldn't they make it so they revolve around having 5 DPS now? Or better say, why wouldn't they make use of the new party composition for mechanics?

    Depends on what you mean with DPS checks.
    Things like Titan's Heart where it's automatic wipe if the dps output is too low? Wouldn't expect it.
