i was born and raised in los angeles and i remember being taught to spell it as "grey" so to this day i do. however ive noticed in my adult life that its spelled as "gray".
grey makes more sense to me so stuck with it ^^
heres one thing i dont get though.... how can an inanimate object be "curious"? doesnt curiousness require a thought process?
15 abilities each? what is this... Kindergarten?A jack of all trades WHM... what is this 1989?
I absolutely agree!
Maybe it's because I'm American (born and raised in the Detroit 'burbs), I'm not used to seeing things written this way. For me, it certainly does give Eorzea a life of its own. I love the accents, the dialogue, the slang, the bit of Cockney thrown in here and there.
I love hearing things like, "Gods be good" or "Gods forfend" (I love that my spellcheck in Firefox just highlighted 'forfend' because it's not often used in modern language).
I LOVE Papalymo in the opening cutscene in Gridania. Everything about what he says and how he says it just brings him to life.

"Oh, Rhalgr take you and your great beyond!"
This has me in stitches every time I hear it!
But, you know... it wouldn't be nearly as funny without the voice acting behind it.
...When are we going to get more voiceovers?![]()

As an American English player I just wanna say I love the use of British English in both language and text in this game. It fits more IMO. After all, there really wasn't an American medieval period was there? lol
