I take it you have a problem with homosexuality? But it doesn't affect you in any way. Stop crying.I wish the developers had better sense than this. We live in a culture that's overly obsessed with sexuality, and they choose to send a message that homosexuality is okay? This is by far the most idiotic thing they've done. Naming this union "eternal bonding" is just a terrible attempt to dodge the issue. I have no problems with gestures of friendship or interracial relations (remember, FINAL FANTASY XI basically confirmed the five playable races all had a common ancestor, so I expect the same thing here), but you dropped the ball here.

As far as I know there are also no Christians in Eorzea and Square Enix is the creator of that world, not the Christian god. Those links are so incredibly off topic it's not even funny.
It's God not god by the way. Anyway a lot crying incoming no gunner
It doesn't really matter if it affects me personally or not. Everything anyone does, says, or thinks sends a message.
I can understand playing the other gender for role-playing purposes, but that doesn't excuse sexual immorality in a culture that's already obsessed with sexuality. Square Enix had a chance to defend what's right here, and they blew it.
They said you could raise your companion chocobo beyond rank 10. If it gains SP at the same rate, you can have it master another skill tree by rank 14. Will we get the matching barding this way, and will we ever get to reset our chocobos' skills? They didn't answer those questions, either, but that's minor compared to this "eternal bonding" business.
For someone so concerned about the sexual obsession of society, you certainly do seem committed to bringing it up over and over again in a thread that has nothing to do with it. Seriously guys, not the place, take it to another thread.
Thank you very much for the loose translations, and I'm pretty satisfied with what I saw here. Hopefully we'll get more information as the date nears.
If you want to get super anal about it, its G_d, not God. Something about print being the same as graven images... or something like that, whatever.
On topic: other than the PvP and horses, that was an underwhelming live letter, and covered much of what was in the first.

Please keep your sexual views out of this thread. The last thing we want is to have this one locked. T_T

Stop responding to people trying to turn this into a conversation. The um-teen-million topics of this that are locked are proof this discussion can't be handled civilly on these forums. Just report the post and move on with your lives.

We also have some other chocobo-related activities planned for patch 2.3. I’ll explain the details at a later time, but I can tell you now that players will be able to reallocate their companion's skill points, and there will be a way to exceed the current cap.1:04:26
Q: When will we be able to reallocate our companion skills?
Never heard of G_d gonna do some research.
On.topic yes it was very underwhelming. Was expecting more info about everything that's in the game now like Atma drop rate or more vanity item's.
