Why can't people dodge?

Wearing i100 Gear means nothing, because that´s the Gear sold for those Tomes you get by beating a Dungeon done in 12 Minutes ;-)

Look out for People with High Allagan Gear, or Leviathan Weapons, so they at least got past Titan EX one time... (or you aks them whom they paid for) ^^

What was sad was one did have full High Allagan Gear.

Few reasons:

1.) Hardware

2.) Ping

3.) Prior to Titan HM you are not severely punished for not dodging, therefore dodging has not become muscle memory or a natural reflex for those who choose to ignore it during their level up process. This makes them a little clumsy at it until they put in some work.

4.) Of course then there are those Pay to Wins out there... Don't let the gear fool you and refer to point #3.

What grinds my gears are those people who get hit by AOEs in any dungeon and say "Sorry, wasn't paying attention"... Wasn't paying attention?? Seriously..? I'm not talking about getting hit by mistake, as if it was just bad timing, or one mistake.. I'm talking about it happening often by the same person. It's seriously annoying, especially as a healer, to heal bad players like that. Nobody should have to tell you to dodge AOEs, that should be automatic and already understood. So, what I do when I see that happening, especially whenever I'm playing as healer, I just let them die. I don't rez them if this is a repeat problem. Again, I can understand if it was a simple mistake, we all make mistakes, but if you're constantly "not paying attention".. well then.. I'll just "not pay attention" to your health bar. ;-)

For my friends, who are based in Singapore, it's server lag. They're still stuck on Titan Ex and I've done told and told them to use latency reducing services, like Battleping and such.

I'm based in Melbourne, Aus and if it wasn't for Battleping, I wouldn't have been able to clear Titan or tackle any of the harder instances. Tell your friends (if they're on PC) to try Battleping, WTfast or any of the latency-reducing services. Without exaggerating, it cuts down 1/3 of the latency.

I should add as well, it depends on your service provider - ours is good and we sit a reasonable distance from our exchange, so we hardly ever get any drops.

But to his defense, Congestions on the Networks make it really annoying these days, I find myself often in a situation where i freeze from 10-30 seconds and then see the missing part in fast forward ^^

luckily, titan HM is not as dangerous anymore, i remember a roulette as BLM where i finished it with a 20 seconds lag and still survived, ^^

but Titan EX ... no way you get me in there until the lag issues are adressed...

PS: I do Titan HM usually in Roulette as tank, where i have really much time to watch the group (as it´s quite a boring fight for the MT)... anyone else noticed it´s always the Bards getting done by the plumes...

I was doing Titan extreme yesterday and I was getting hit by landside all the time I was so embarrassed with the party group then I noticed that my mom was watching some videos -_-

Because people actually search more excuses than gettin faster / anticipatin better. Thats why they cant dodge. Honestly I'm playin from paris and I'm both on Exodus / Moogle (2 different data center) I have close to zero latency issue if someone isn't downloadin at home

I am over it..dont get nasty with me. I stick with groups who fail..we got to 50% echo the other night..did I hate how stupid some people are? Yes. Did I abuse them? No, unless they were being abusive when they were one of the sucky ones. It was more of a rant thread because of how much I had grinded it with a friend yesterday so do not speak as if I Think I am some divine gift upon the DF..I am but still.
