When and how were adamantoise introduced to Eorzea from the Near East? Is there a mass adamantoise grave in Camp Bluefog (where we can mine adamantoise shells)?

Where is the Island of Binaq?

Where is the homeland of the Miqo'te, and are the tribal totems of the Seekers of the Sun native to that homeland?

1.) Is there any lore to the Ferne that's a bounty in N. Thanalan, or is that just a nod to how much we love you?

2.) Can we get some details on Diabolos, who/what he is, and what's going on with him and Amdapor? If you can't answer that, can we at least know if Diabolos, Siren, and some of the other more exclusive bosses will show up again later, or get fleshed out some?

3.) What makes an elder Primal different from regular primals? What's so elder about them?

I wish we could have included more of these! It's always hard trying to find a good balance of unanswered lore, behind-the-scenes, and personal experience questions without adding too many that, while pressing, are likely to be answered by future quests, in the upcoming datalogs, or with an all-encompassing "please look forward to it!" I mean, do we reeeally need to know what it's like trying to craft a new beast tribe and squeeze it into the world when we could be asking how Sthalmann's road to redemption is going and if we'll ever see him again!?

A question which I only just came across is about the Temple of Qarn. The statues have tails, which remind me of Yugiri's. What race or being are these statues in the last part of the dungeon meant to represent?

This more speculation, but what would happen if any of the nation-states were tempered?

On a more lore based question. What exactly is tempering. I know that it turns people into fanatical fundamentalists who would live, die and would give up their humanity for the primal who tempered them but what exactly is the process?

Until we find a cure? Probably have to nuke it from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

One of the questions that made our list of "unanswered, but not obviously a loose end meant for tying up later" was about tempering, specifically just to know a little bit more about the boundaries and terminology involved. It's a great time for such a question, what with new words being thrown around all over the place and SE really capitalizing on the last of the "Poster Six" primals being released in these next patch cycles. What exactly we got for an answer (if we got an answer!) will have to wait until we wrap up the write up, but the time is nigh for a little more clarity - even if the answer for some of said boundaries has to boil down to "That's supposed to be fuzzy; it's a known-unknown! Have fun with it!"

I see. If its not too late, I have a couple speculative ideas, but those are based around tempering and alternate timelines/universes. But I can't post threads yet, but these questions are both relevant to the lore and determine the possibility of my ideas.

1. Would there be a possibility of implementing alternate dimensions/timelines (I'm certain Legacy doesn't count its its set in another time).
2. Is it possible for someone to temper others?
3. How does the Echo works?
4. This is related to my "Mirrored Tempered Erozea" idea but is independent: How close would the Nationstates be to Civil War if the Scions of the 7th Dawn didn't form?
5. More directly connected to the Mirror idea; What are the chances that there would be an evil version of the player characters?
