I just wanna clear something out, I see a lot of people talking about it and I may taking it wrong. I'm talking about new content...
as we know, the new content gonna be Ramoh and on the far future, Shiva.
now each patch is 3 months, and 2.3 gonna hit the next month, and it'll not have any new coils, means the only new coils will be at least on 2.4, which is 4 months from now... now 4 months is A LOT of time. enough time to get the HA weapon, and I don't think anyone will prefer Novus over the HA.

please correct me if my way of thinking is wrong, and I have a feeling that it does.

Your right, this tier of Novus isn't really that great. Don't get me wrong, its ok, but its easily replaced. Most of the theory crafting I'm doing is revolving around the next tier really.

I don't think having accuracy in your weapon slot will ever stop being a good idea. Especially as we continue further along in the game you will likely have your choice of raid gear or token gear to swap out. When it comes down to it, your secondaries are there for min-maxing while the bulk of your damage is always going to come from weapon damage, strength, and making sure you're never missing.

You only lose the materia

You will loose your 40 Animus accuracy if you go det/crit

Actually, I'm hearing that we can stack a Novus with five different stats. They've just gotta add up to 75 in the end.
