Then what should they have done? Kept playing with someone who can't meet the DPS check? They'd probably have hit the 11 minute enrage timer as well, then what? Toxic or not, if you can't meet the DPS checks, you SHOULD NOT be in that party. Hell if you know BLM sucks in that fight, level a Summoner or something, should be easier to gear that than any other DD class since you already have BLM gears.

Not quite sure where I stand on the whole BLM is gimped thing.. I guess SE acknowledging it makes it true, however there are groups with BLMs that have cleared t9 - does that mean they all got carried through? Just sayin..

But my point was, it doesn't matter how it was picked up.
I've used parsers in WOW for years but can already pick up low DPS simply by placing an eye on them for a minute and watching their rotations/threat generation. So yeah, there is other ways to pick up poor DPS, just not as precise as a parser.

What does matter is how poor BLM in general performs in Second Coil.
Granted, they plan to address this soon.

So my best advice to the OP is to either wait... or level SMN and throw your gear at it as someone suggested.
I don't play BLM very often but it's one of my favorite DPS classes. Although SMN is Lv 50 and iLv 92 or so, as is the BLM, I'd rather shoot myself than play SMN. (I personally find SMN to be mindnumbing boring).
So maybe waiting might have to be it.

Then they didn't like you for one reason or another. Could be dps, could be attitude, could be someone telling them they pt with you before and didn't like you. Its plausible it's because of parse, but it is also equally plausible someone was streaming and their friend recognize you for any reason is another plausible expectation. But to answer the initial question, as long as you are able to cast and hit mesuline from behind Renault dps shouldn't drop too much unless you got every voice.


Edit: takes forever to type on iPhone, in reply to your second edit, you have 10 seconds. Finish your cast and pray for fire starter , (continue casting of someone has voice) run behind renault while scathe and firestarter behind Renault go cast ice 3 or something to get a cast before shriek interrupts. Done , dps maximized for your situation stop complaining and try different things to adjust

I play monk. What am I supposed to do, punch the Renauds? So I feel your pain, but no I won't agree that your ok to have low DPS.

Weird, most groups the healers run to the renauds and stone them.

Learn how to read properly, "shriek" not voice.

The issue was with adds, they park the Renault at east side of the arena and i ran there for cursed. I am too far from boss or adds to damage and lost my fire stack of course. This is the first time i ever got cursed out on low dps, like i mention before i got to final phrase and even got boss to 4% before. It just upset me mroe that i got cursed out AFTER getting 2 repeated shriek.

This case either explain and they'll have to manage with dps loss, or switch ice fire phase right before you run to renault so you can keep stacks and lose a bit of uptime or tell then to accommodate you somehow.

haha I got yelled at during a twin for having low dps once. I kindly pointed out that I was in all 3 conflags. The next attempt we won, and I finished on top of the DPS chart.

Also, out of all of the 2nd coil, T7 is the furthest from a DPS race. Haters gon hate.
