In the real world, very rarely is this ever the case.
Walk into your bosses office with a suggestion and no support and your bound to get laughed it.
Always remember the Silver Rule:
"Treat others as they treat you!" ...or something like that.

I've found this "grind content" much more enjoyable by simply just not grinding it. I play it as it comes. Sometimes several of my FC members get together to do fates since we're out of FC credits - and the atma just comes. You won't find me grinding Brayflox HM for Myth for the books either - I get Myth everyday just by playing the game, so I'll eventually get my book. Just like when Housing came out, these new Weapons are meant to be a long term goal. There's really no reason to try and get a Novus weapon as quickly as possible - don't forget, there won't be any new weapons for a long time.

I tend to spend 6 hours or so in game on days i work and about 10-12 on my off days, but I do things at my own pace without rushing (usually, I did rush to get my atma, but i did my animus over 3 weeks with daily roulette's)
If I get bored or tired of it, I go and play some games on my PS3 or PS4
Character: Lynn Valkyrie
Balmung

I agree. Also, it is not a black-and-white thing. As I said, I like how the DoH/DoL class quests are made. Good writing. Creative. Stories I might remember months from now (the botanists' guild master who thinks about retiring because <spoiler/> was almost heartbreaking...). THAT is (at least) the standard I would have liked to see in ATMA/Animus/Nevus.

This is already happening. I subbed this month to see leviathan and this patch content and already unsubbed. A month is plenty of time to see everything new (more than enough). Until they do more than just "moar tokenz pharming", one month every big release is more than enough. There's no reason to grind anything after the release, because they are just rehashing old instances/fates. I play maybe an hour or two on two days a week and see the new stuff in a week or two. The rest is just pointless grinding for pointless gear that makes little to no difference and will be obsolete when I come back after the next content release.- More and more players will realize that only the names and Levels of their weapons and bosses change. Chasing numbers is not a long-term motivation.
- When the previous grind content is nerfed two months later (like you do now with the Myths of the current dungeons in relation to the cost of Animus maps), the following will happen:
- a) Wait for a patch, then subscribe for a month
- b) Grind new content
- c) Unsub
- d) Wait two months until next patch
- e) Go to step a).
Personally, I only resub after big patches or the sub isn't worth it, imo. That is why with this sub, I grouped the last patch (Levi) and this mini patch, so I got both in one month. Still a week or two is plenty of time to see it all.Originally Posted by Shioban

Allegan gear is ment to have skills -> excuse to casuals: not everyone is ment to get it
Relict gear is ment to be grindfest -> excuse to casuals: not everyone is ment to get it
Strategy gear is ment to be RNG -> excuses to casuals: not everyone is ment to get it
Can we at least please have a serious discussion like here and stop those poor excuses?
"I want higher quality content" and "shorter release cycles". DO NOT go hand in hand.
As a developer and even just as someone who has actually read what they've posted about the above, content takes time. The better the content the longer it takes to develop it.

Primals/Coil/Crystal Tower/Main Scenario ARE ALL MAAIN PATCH CONTENTS.
Buffer patches include;
Bug Fixes
Qualit of Life adjustments
Minor quest additions/side-quests
Mini contents updates (thins the Dev team have done on the side and are now ready for implementation pre major patch)
Stop over-reacting.

then relic should always be EQUAL to coil weapons...always. then its fair, then the choice truly is a "choice".Atma/Animus/Novus are obviously intended to be grinds. No point if everyone can get them easily within a few days. It serves as an alternately pathway to those that don't want or cant clear coil. Would it be fair to coil clearers if everyone can just get Atma/Animus/Novus easily? If you don't want to clear coil, then do it the grind method.
Also, Sightseeing is not intended to be cleared right away. If SE had not included weather requirements, people would probably have cleared it already or in the next few days. What would be the point then? Take it slow. It's meant to last a few weeks or even months to keep people occupied while SE makes other content, be they grind or non-grind content.
And yes. SE is an Asian company.
thy need to cut coil completely.

You ignored that part of what I wrote: "I would like two -->medium-size<-- releases every 45 days much better than one -->big<--- release every three months."
BTW, I work in software development, so the terms "agile development", "continuous integration" and esp. "continuous delivery" mean something to me.
