


bad decisions can cause bad things to happen in the first place, just because it happened with LOTRO doesn't mean it will happen with any other game. I personally hated LOTRO anyway

a solution to this would be to add seperate servers for solo DF and slowly add the dungeons to those. ofcourse they would end up with a mess where people would have to queue up and wait but it would still be better than overcrouding the regular DF servers and causing instabilities in thoseYou used to be able to co-op Toto-rak in 1.0, it was one of the better ways to earn seals. I don't see a problem allowing solo dungeon runs, but then I also see the problem. Every active dungeon is one less instance in the queue, and if they let you solo as a 50 then noone else would be able to join in. If too many people steal instances for solo escapades you get what happened in the first month of 2.0. It's up to Square, really, to determine if the risk to instance server demand is worth it.
