I actually went in there a couple of times when I was farming myth for animus just for some variety and to perhaps complete the warrior of light set. It actually was okay, I was expecting the skill level to go down with less people going into CT

But still quite nostalgic. How long ago was it that people would farm CT all the time?

Same here. I like doing CT, so i did it a few times just for fun, while getting Myth Tomes for my Atma books. It’s not the most efficient way to get Myth Tomes, since you can get 100 Myth Tomes by doing 1 Main Story Roulette, or 50 myth by speed running Brayflox Hard Mode and then leaving after the 2nd boss.

The release of 2.2 was basically the end of our CT farming days. Well… For me personally, it was the time when my FC invited me into the Coil Static at the beginning of this year. But, whenever i wasn’t in Coil, i’d do as many CT runs as i could.

The difficulty of CT has been the same since it’s release, but now especially since we have the Echo in Turn 1 through 5, it’s getting harder to find a group for CT in the Duty finder. For instance, the day before yesterday i wanted to get one of my FC members a clear for CT (in preparation for CT2), but even as a full party we still didn’t manage to get into CT after 40 minutes. At that time, we still only had 3 Tanks, 2 healers and 7 DPS in the DF Queue.

We had to leave the queue, otherwise it would’ve been after midnight for me before we would finish it (and i had to work the next day) and a few others (North American FC Members) had errands to run before the shops would close over there. Maybe we can get our FC Member in need his clear today or the upcoming weekend.

Only 2 more books to go and then my Curtana Animus will be ready for the next stop, Curtana & Holy Shield Novus. (^_~ )

I still want to get a group together (with at least a few FC members) to farm Turn 2, 4 and 5 so that i can update my White Mage gear with the Allagan Circlet Of Healing, Allagan Tunic of Healing and Allagan Breeches of Healing, because I don’t really like to do it solo with a pug in the DF… (^_^; )

But, no rush. My Paladin has the highest priority at the moment. White Mage 2nd and Bard 3rd. (^_^ )

My Paladin is basically ready for Turn 8, but we haven’t beaten Turn 6 yet (getting close though) and i’m getting Soldiery Gear/Accessories for my White Mage and Bard.

I think they stopped when the patch 2.2 was relased, because spammable coil means better gear than the CT gear

Getting excited for patch day!

Though it falls between 5pm and 10pm here in Aus, so probably won't have patch notes to read while at work. If I get home fast enough I should be able to get my daily stuff done before 5 so I can hit the new stuff after.

I haven't gotten my Curtana Animus yet, so that will be my main objective so that I can transition to the next part of the Zodiac Brave quest (for the Novus upgrade).

After that, I'll probably try out that Sightseeing Log. (^_^ )

I have been way too busy to play these last few days - but a long weekend coming up for me so hopefully I can catch up on a lot of things and explore some of the new patch! I am home today, but got a lot of teaching/planning stuff to do... Maybe if I'm speedy I can get it done and log on to play a little!

Crafting filtering is a bit disappointing as it seems you can only filter inside level sets

Players will no longer receive experience points for repairing gear.

Equipment preview is nice, but it would be great if you could also preview it in different colours.

Preferences for hiding or displaying head gear and main/off hand weapons can now be saved to gear sets.

The number of Allagan tomestones of mythology and soldiery obtained from a duty will now be displayed in the Duty Finder.

Finally!

Players can now select a specific quantity when removing stacked items from their retainer's inventory.
