    It still kind of dances around the question. How exactly would changing the mechanics destroy the hard work people put into the quests? People cried bloody murder that all the effort they put into clearing raids and the coil got nerfed with the Echo buff, yet nothing about them in general really changed.

    • Everyone has more HP, can be hit by avoidable mechanics more often without it resulting in death/wipe.
    • Tank's damage potency allows better hate control at a lower ratio of MP/TP costs to attain said enmity.
    • Healer's potency allows better heals at lower MP costs.
    • DPS potency allows adds to die faster and phases to become shorter, resulting in even less reliance on Healer MP or pure support buffs (ex: can requiem more, ballad less)

    The only stuff echo doesn't help is party not killing adds before phase changes, and mechanics which eject the player from the arena.

    The former is not a common issue. The latter can be largely avoided by properly "baiting" landslides.
