Shadow Of Darkness Quest NOT WORKING!

The in game GM after two weeks told me to report this issue. I can not take the quest Shadow of Darkness. I looked it up my last complete quest is Back To the Wood, I should be on Shadow of Darkness. Minfilia will not speak to me I can not get her next quest. I would really like this fixed, my step son is questing with me he was able to take the quest with no issues.

I was told report it please reply!

At this point I've had this game for almost a month I've ran into this bug I CAN NOT complete the story line of my quests. I'm really upset, I was told to put a ticket in to GM the GM said come here. If this can't be fixed I'm canceling my sub. What fun is it to play this game if you can't even read the story?

There might be some side quest that you have not done that is required. Some may not even be listed as required.

Compare your quest journal with your sons to see what differs in completed sidequests and other things.
Compare the information in the journal for Back To the Wood with your sons entry to see if something is different.

If there is a bug with the quest it may be fixed with the maintenance/patch in a few days.

Just out of curiosisty - Have you unlocked the Bard and equipped the soul stone yet? If yes - can you try to approach Minfilia without the Bard soulstone equipped?

I have unlocked it but I haven't tried it without the stone. I'll go try it and if your right then wow do I feel stupid!

Mhh - does the Back from the Wood quest show as completed in your Journal? If I'm not mistaken after (semi-)completing the test by talking to Minfilia you need to also talk to Tataru upstairs.

Okay so I\\'ve posted this a few times and cannot seem to get it fixed. I have some kind of issue with the main story quest. The NPC will not give me the next quest. My journal says the last competed quest is "Back from the Wood".* Mnifia will not speak to me after i turned the quest in and it became completed. I should be on "Shadow of Darkness; I\\'ve looked this up and had my step on do the same routine I did to get where I am quest wise and he had no issues. I have put three tickets in and told CS that I wanted to turn my account off because no one will help me get this resolved. I\\'m a paying customer I believe if I can\\'t see the story then what fun is it really? The story is what makes the game so much fun at least to me. Is there a way to reset the story quest? I\\'ve gone up and down trying to get NPC\\'s to give me the next part of this quest. I must be bugged, I\\'ve reported the bug and CS never responded. I do not want to quit but I\\'m about 2 days left of sub. I will not pay for a game that will not let me see the story. Please help! I know this issue has been had by others I\\'ve looked through the forums.
