FC Recruiting. Up 2 No Good - An FC reborn?

It's a new season dawning on Up2NoGood. You've probably seen my posts, you may have seen me in game. My last post was a ton more extravagant than this one is about to be, so bear with me here!


We've gone through a bit of a paradigm shift, no drama involved (which is great) but a few of our members have left our ranks mainly for real life reasons. As such leadership has officially fallen to me, which I graciously accepted. That means my lovely self, fun-loving and level-headed approach will now permeate every bit of everything we do. We are up 2 no good in an ironic way now. My objectives as new leader are as follows:

- Build up our home much more (its pretty bare at the moment)
- Recruit! I want more dependable people who like to have a good time!
- Expand our social network. With people like Demi Goldheart and several others, we've formed an unofficial alliance and alliance linkshell! We're on great terms and because of that, you don't just join U2NG, you join a larger community thats beginning to exist on Brynhildr.

That all being said, the basic principles and core values of U2NG aren't really changing
So Why U2NG?
There's lots of reasons to join Up2NoGood and here are the best I can come up with!

- We're play skills of all levels and we accept all levels: Most of us are very skilled at this game (yes I'm very modest), but more importantly we're all about learning and helping. We have helped a number of people on our server not even connected to our FC and we pride ourselves on creating a positive atmosphere whenever we can and wherever we go.
- We have fun: We participate in most end-game content and have goals to clear all of it, but we don't run it like a second job. We take our time, enjoy the fights, swap roles, help learn from different perspectives, and sometimes break out into Manderville based dance parties in Hawker's alley. It happens!
- We're mature-ish: The FC is comprised of people who are average age of mid 20s. A lot of us have families, real lives, work, etc. We know what that means to people and time constraints and will never hold it over someone. That being said, we drink, we swear, we cut loose. Like I mentioned above, we like to have fun, and this game isn't a 2nd job. Be prepared for swearing if you join us and general jovialness.
- We Use TeamSpeak: Teamspeak is less a requirement now with my leadership but is HIGHLY advised. It's easier to react in a fight when listening to us, and hell, its just fun to cut loose and curse and laugh with us, right?
- Always people on to help: I, and many in the FC, have participated in so many relic adventures, low level dungeons, high level dungeons, that I swear most of us could potentially do it blindfolded. That being said, we love doing it, especially for people who are new and don't know the areas or mechanics but want to learn.
- We Have a House: Located in gorgeous Limsa Lominsa (The Mist), we do have a Medium Sized free company house that is getting all the most lavish treatment our members can provide.
- You won't be just a number: Our FC currently numbers in the 20s, and on at any point we usually have around 10-15. We aren't looking to bolster our ranks to huge numbers, we want to make sure we're a close knit and good group of people which means everyone knows who everyone is. Many of us are actually clusters of IRL friends who joined together. Myself and 2 IRL friends joined up with another core group, and another small group joined us as well which ended up bolstering us to our current amount (with some random invites to stragglers who were interested). Joining us means you're not in a Zerg FC, there aren't another 80+ people and you wouldn't be able to tell X from Y.
- We're rank 8! We are a max rank FC which means those bonuses I mentioned you can get from us? We have the selection available to us to do any.

I hope this interests some of you and you may want to hook up! If you don't, no worries, but I'm always happy to at least meet some people that are likeminded and expand our social linkshell even more!

What's the main time you guys are on? I'm Rosalie Bonageux with Final Dawn, but I'm looking for more folks to play with PST 5:30pm to 8:30pm (GMT 12:30am-1:30am; EST 8:30pm to 11:30pm).

We're all over the place at the moment but for weekdays the most active time currently is exactly that; 8:30PM to 11:30PM EST, in fact thats exactly the usual time I play at. Hi Anshelm, not yet - I am hoping that when we become more stable with more membership that we can open that up though. You would be more than welcome to join up with us of course if we interest you but just know that I'd have to pull a Yoshida when it comes to raiding and say "Please look forward to it."
