After 12 Atmas, then what - 1,500 myth x 9?

Should've been 1k each with an option to purchase in advance of collecting all 12 Atma's (had to blow 2k myth waiting to finish my 12 just due to cap).

This and not to heap more misery but you also have to kill 900 mobs, do 27 dungeons, camp 27 fates (some of which can take hours) and do 27 leves. If you have average luck with rng, the atma is child's play compared to the books. It took me about a week to get the atmas but more than a month to finish the books.

So after I farm for 12 atmas I will need 13,500 myth tomes to get the benefit? That can't possibly be correct can it? Please tell me it's 1,500 for all 9 not just one. Two places I found each said this but that's insane.

Buying the books for 1,500 Myth each is just the first step. You also have to complete all of the tasks assigned in each book before you get the stat upgrade. Each book requires you to complete three dungeons, three FATE's, three leve quests, and 10 specific mobs (10 times). Each book requires different mobs, fates, dungeons, and leve's (usually.)

Oh, it isn't JUST 1,500 myth tomes x9. Don't forget you also have to do the tasks in the books. That includes killing several trash mobs all over the open world, running 3 dungeons which often have no or very little reward, doing 3 worthless leves, and of course waiting several hours for 3 specific fates to pop which you only have a few minutes to do or you miss it and have to wait several more hours.

I much prefer the tasks and myth gathering to the random drops of the Atma themselves. It may be a looooooooong task, but at least you're taking measurable steps the entire way.

My first MMO, has exceeded my expectations in so many ways and a fantastic gaming experience. I can tolerate the mean folks and the quitters but this just isn't going to happen. As a semi-completionist, I'm 3 relics away from having all of them, this is just so disappointing. I enjoy playing all classes equally and like gong back and forth from healer to tank to dps, to melee, etc...and spend most of my tomes on gear. Man I'm so bummed out right now. Forgetting for the moment the silly grind and horrible drop rates to get 12 separate atmas for one weapon (which is significant) if I wanted to upgrade all of them it would take me 1,500 x 9 x 8 = 108,000 tomes to do so? That's literally insane. Maybe I can get 250 a day, but I don't play this like it's a job. At 250 a day it would take me 432 days. Oh, Square - that's just not right. I know, I know "pick a class and do that one" I don't want to. I equally enjoy playing them all. What a bummer. Thanks for the replies.
