Patch 1.18 release date now looking grim for july??

Well if it gets delayed I blame the people in here bi***ing they are going to nerf the game first in 1.18 then make patch later to fix it. Maybe that made them stop and try to put in some features they can try to squeeze in as fast as possible from 1.19 to lessen the feeling of being nerfed (temporary)

ADD: Should also say I blame you guys who said fists are not right for archers!! I bet SE's like (In Arnold'ss voice) OH NOES, FIX IT!!! FIX IT NOW!!! GET TO THE CHOPPA!!!

That's my guess... I hope it doesn't get delayed... lol orz orz orz orz orz Wife FINALLY started playing FFXIV with me again and we've been hunting NM's for the ex/rare gear and doing quests since we didn't do any... we finished all the quests already... and all the NM's we can duo is gonna be done soon too... times running out! Oh No's!!!

Fists aren't right for Archers, sorry that people spoke up about it. Regardless, I doubt they'll change that.

Tiron they said it would be in June, then confirmed as Earliest Mid June, now its not even June, there is no June, it cant eve be late june, it cant even be the last 0.000000000000000000001 seconds of June.

People expected it in June, there is no June, maybe I should listen to SE and expect it in June, of 2012.

LOL I agree with you that fists don't match with archers, that's for sure. I'm just saying if the delay is because of that don't cry (to the archer players) On JP thread they had talk about how a pianist always keeps his hand taken care of in the best way, same with archers without their hands they wont be able to shoot the arrows... and SE telling them to go bust their fists and damage their precious fists... so I responded to that one in the JP thread... well just like any other weapon... just get it repaired

Honestly any Archer should try their absolute best to always be in shooting range of the enemy...so neither are daggers. If anything, it would be better to have crossbows and normal bows. Give crossbows a high rate of fire or something.

Yeah..I'm missing the point of anything-other-than-bows on Archer too. I mean..isn't the point to be away from the enemy shooting them in the face? I should think that Archers would indeed be s.o.l if an enemy came at them, because then they would have to scramble to drop their bow and punch it. Eh..I guess the more I think about it, the more I could see how it would go either way.

Ugh.. how many times do you people need to be told how to use a bow and arrow.. Bow in One hand Arrow in the other hand. That leaves no room for a dagger.. You gonna throw away you bow to pull out a dagger? Better yet, you gonna take the time to reach for a dagger when a ravanous creature is attempting to eat your face? or are you gonna puinch it and shoot it?

The 1.18 patch isn't going to stop players from leaving FFXIV for TERA and Guild Wars 2 later on.

Let's face it: game still sucks even after 1.18 and 1.19...

1 year since release and we got:
-incomplete storyline all the way up to 50
-broken stats
-lame content
-lame gear
-very few grind camps
-everyone does the same leves
-NM gear is a joke
-still walking everywhere
-no airships
-no guild based events
-no jobs
-no dynamic events
-nothing worth crafting but a gazillion level up mats
-did I mention no full storyline?
-the list goes on and on... really it does

Now how does FFXIV get misconstrued as a "released MMO"?

FFXI chumps FFXIV anyday.

Only NEW thing is the newbs just joining the game thinking everything is hunky dory because they weren't here to see the same stupid BS go on for a year.

SE is making people sick and tired.
