Don't craft in one of the main cities. Don't craft in lowbie areas just outside the main cities either. These areas seem to be where many RMT hang out. Try the housing areas. Better yet, craft inside a house since it's a separate area.

The housing areas or even an instanced house doesn't deter them. I know, cause I still get spammed incessantly while in one.



/busy works well but it cuts off all tells and invites, but if you're not expecting either then it serves its purpose.
SE really needs to step up their game here.
I understand that to them, perhaps gilsellers are their main concern.
But to us, it's gilspammers. They are the ones that annoy us, make us dread that "tell" sound and interfere with using the game.
There are many things they can do to reduce gilspammers (such as limiting the numbers of tells that a player can do per minute to something like 6 or allowing people the option of ignoring tells from players who have not paid for a subscription), but for some reason, SE hasn't made these important QoL changes...
