not really much different than you think of having the abilities of the 3 nodes in one boss and have to pass allagan rot. it's not difficult at all, but enrage was made popular by people that didn't have the skill to beat it otherwise even though the regular method is much faster with zero waiting time. honestly, i thought enrage was going to just be a passing fad until more learned to beat it the much faster way of doing it normally with rot, but seems people took to the enrage strat even though it takes longer to complete.
to pass rot, which is the fear, you simply number your party members and fan out. when you get rot and get a few stacks simply move over to the next number and pass over them to hand it over.

First it's faster. Second you actually have to deal with his mechanics, which can vary a bit based on which path you take. Primarily though, you pass rot and dodge his other abilities and silence high voltage. Tank swaps too of course. Rot is far easier than people make it out to be. You set up 5 designated people, and whoever rot goes out first on, waits til the debuff is around 5 seconds, walks over to the next person in the order you chose, and it passes on its own. If someone not a part of the chain gets it, they just pass to the first person. Usually ranged/healers work best, but it's not difficult with melee either, unless people are.... bad.
the only difficult thing about the rot passing was players getting confused or panicking when the laser targeted them and they would run into another player or not see the timer for rot run out. wiping the party. its really a matter of paying attention to the timer on rot to pass it in time
Paying attention to their debuffs is something that gets more important later too, so it's kind of annoying that people bypassed it in T2.the only difficult thing about the rot passing was players getting confused or panicking when the laser targeted them and they would run into another player or not see the timer for rot run out. wiping the party. its really a matter of paying attention to the timer on rot to pass it in time

Well, very briefly, it's sort of like playing Hot Potato, except passing "the potato" resets the timer, and if it blows up, everyone loses.
Also, there's a big giant orb that is shooting at you. Also, you can't pass "the potato" to someone who's had it recently, so you can't pass it too fast or you'll run out of people you can pass it to, and then every one dies.
...this analogy sounded better in my head.
You tank swap, don't get cleaved, interrupt high voltage, dodge piercing laser, dodge repelling cannons, dodge firestream/ballast (whichever your group picks), and dodge void zones/heal through chain lightning (whichever your group picks). While doing all of this, you play hot potato. Passing the potato resets the timer. If someone holds the potato for too long, you all die. If everyone passes the potato along too quickly, you all die.
It's really not very hard, but if you have people who are unable to follow simple instructions it can be painful, so most people just do the enrage method when doing it through the party finder.
T2 actually sounds really fun and looked forward to it, only to hear about this stupid Enrage BS.Well, very briefly, it's sort of like playing Hot Potato, except passing "the potato" resets the timer, and if it blows up, everyone loses.

People claim this game is easy and finds way to bypass crap lol...I hope one day I can have some people
do it the normal way. The whole "Hot Potato" thing sounds fun.
It wasn't very fun (especially if you were on silence duty) but definitely more satisfying to beat than enrage mode.
