Patch 1.18 release date now looking grim for july??

If patch takes another 3 months then that be fine by me but i hope they can do it sooner of course, anyway with all the changes its intresting to think how they would have added stuff to game before all the changes with team and other things.
Did they have a roadmap, ideas already ready and will maybe some of that come back into the game after this next patch.
Would be intresting to know.

Anyway i hope payment goes up for game soon after next patch or two as i think game need to start getting money in to secure any chance of it going on in future.

At least i can see if they payment system is ok as they changing ff11 payment , maybe a test for 14 .

They got my money already, I paid for a good game that was supposed to come out in September. They gave me a beta test instead.

As much as your love for the game would push you to in essence DONATE towards it's developing, please take into account that most people won't feel compelled to. Any charging before the game is less than GREAT will result in massive quits.

ya id stay for that 1 month i paid before i actually tried this game thinking it wasnt free then id quit and never look back :|

Looking at the bigger picture this means that the list of changes planned by the end of summer 2011 as Yoshi-P said in a letter, will most likely not make it for this summer. That list will probably be completed sometime this winter.

UNLESS.... 1.18 was delayed because they realized some features could be completed in time for 1.18 and decided to wait a bit longer to add more stuff. But that's just wishful thinking really... the real reason is probably because they can't get their shit together and organized so they're delaying patches for the same reason FFXIV took 5yrs to make.

This is a rhetorical question, but what would you folks really do if the patch came out? You most likely would try it, then come back to the forums and start waiting eagerly for the next patch.

Much like watching a tree grow,
there are other things to do in the meantime
Venting is ok
But venting day in and day out on the same thing may be unhealthy.
And it's scaring my subligared lalafell friends.

i thought the forums were setup for feedback. if people feel it's taking too long and feel the need to post about it then it is feedback. it may not be feedback you want to hear, but it is feedback.

Not really -- All it's doing is showing you'd rather waste time complaining for the sake of it than moving on. Feedback isn't saying "it takes too long I shouldn't have to be patient, this is stupid, SE fails, soandso game is better"; at least where I come from that's not called feedback. If you're dissatisfied you don't keep saying you are, you leave you move on -- look at APB release, people were dissatisfied and moved on. The reason people call these forums abysmal is because of said people, there's been so little constructive criticism vs just complaining for the sake of it it's no surprise Yoshida basically said for these forums to calm down lol.

Mocking the fact someone says have patience when a game is going an overhaul that requires patience for it to be done? Isn't feedback.

Tiron they said it would be in June, then confirmed as Earliest Mid June, now its not even June, there is no June, it cant eve be late june, it cant even be the last 0.000000000000000000001 seconds of June.

People expected it in June, there is no June, maybe I should listen to SE and expect it in June, of 2012.

You need to learn the meaning of words... they did say at the EARLIEST mid-june, that means that it could have been released around mid-june but it could also be anytime after that, july is still fitting that statement. Earliest mid-june doesn't mean it will be released in june. On top of that, Yoshi apologized in his last letter saying that it would be delayed two weeks from their original plans. So all they said is still true. Stop trying to be funny with your summer 2012, because it's not working.

ummmm lol i said what i said because i thought it was ridic that someone told us to be patient on a patch that's been delayed multiple times
