the thing was that MS wants their own servers for FF14, ps3/ps4 and pc plays together and xbox 1 be playing by them self....

I don't know how true this statement is, only because FFXI runs on Xbox 360, and it's connected to the same servers as PCs and PS2s. There must be something else to it.

It's from Yoshi-P himself and even before Yoshi-P talked about this last year at E3, I believe it was known that Microsoft made an exception to get Final Fantasy on the 360. Hopefully they will make the same exception again.

MS changed their policy a few years later that games can only run on their service. Which is pretty much why FFXI is the only MMO on the system.
