Simple:

Extra storage space for a fee = perfectly fine

Ability to send 2 more characters out on ventures to obtain rare and high level equipment/items for a fee = Not Fine At All

I really think the fact that the additional retainer rental ability was added simultaneously with adding a huge pile of new items to the game, additionally compounded by the fact that we 1 - must keep the items that are the source of our glamour around in order to use them and 2 - got the 12 non stacking atmas that don't go into key item inventory at the same time was just a painfully obvious ploy to get people to pay extra. I'm sorry but at no point will the extra 5mb of data (extreme top end, probably much much much less) that a retainer represents be worth 2$/month. Want to charge extra for flashy outfits or whatever? Fine, as long as there are still a decent variety of appearances available for free, I couldn't care less. Charge me extra for storage you then actively design in such a way to make mandatory for certain play styles? Not cool.

I won't judge SE about intentionally bloating our inventories for profit... I just feel we deserve a third Retainer before added expenses.

Free things are amazing for me because SE hates my credit cards. I can't pay for anything in-game except monthly subs and thats through time cards ;;
