That being said SE have set the precedent of removing RMT generated gil in the past, so be careful who you sell to.

That's why the decision to take the risk or not is yours. You wouldn't have any reason to come back complaining if SE ever deletes the gil that you got from any of your customers, tho.

As people have said, mercing is not against ToS, but you could end up carrying players who have bought gil, whilst not your fault because you can't know where the gil came from, SE has it in their power to track and remove gil obtained from rmt.

Your best bet would be to contact support and ask them. They are more likely to have this info than the community reps, and the reps, whilst they read every post, they don't reply to them all, whereas support would definitely reply to you.

Considering on Cerberus selling runs has been active since... hmmm prob beta if not just a bit after... And nobody has bated an eye towards it no real issue.

There was nothing in beta for 8 mans period, it'd be post-Titan HM I'd say, then once people started doing that, it spread into coil.

Make a policy to look at your customer's background / familiarity (i.e if other ppl know this guy ) chances are there will only be a select few that have legit 10 mill + spending budgets.
If your buyer is not a well known server master crafter then you should be obviously cautious.
Ask around if the buyer is known because by now we should know a lot of familiar end game players at mor and lim.
Also if you want to make the extra effort, go and check the MB and see the item's history.
If you see that guy's name show up spending a lot recently on high end gear/ items like HQ i90 gear, rare super expensive housing furniture /pieces ( i.e white raven fragment ).
No way ppl would spend 10-20 mil in an a week or 2 ( not including buying a house ).

If you are selling content then you are selling your safety at the buyer's own consent.
