I need some macro creation tips, please!

I know how to put the action on a hotbar, I want to know how to put it in a macro so I can also put other things in the macro which is what macros are for. Clearly no one knows, maybe someday they'll put out a list of what works.

There's no command for summoning mounts, so you can't put it in a macro.
On a side note, there's already an official list of commands you can peruse at will: Text Commands > Battle Commands

PS. If you're that concerned, you can make a separate macro with the rest of commands you may want to use and place it right next to the mount skill, although I can't even imagine what do you really want to do since all you can do when mounted is performing emotes. Maybe you're referring to companion instead of mounts? If that's the case, there's no command to summon your companion to battle neither.

While it won’t be until after patch 2.3, we’d like to implement a single text command that will serve to mount and dismount the most recent mount you used.

In the future we’d also like to add a text command that will allow you to adjust the sound volume.

The team plans on making as many text commands for the settings in the configuration as possible, and while it might take a bit of time to implement them all they will be addressing them step by step.

I didn't know that /away also worked as a synonym for it, but /afk itself works. That's what I use. I have to admit, I'm a little confused by asking for an "/afk" command, when that command is "/afk". The question (or request actually) already contains the answer.

Can we please have animations for mount/dismount?

Like a Lalafell leaping up onto its Chocobo & plopping down into position.

If anything, just for Chocobo's because I know it would be a lot to animate every different type of mount.
