Thank you for contacting FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn In-game support.

We understand the impact that is caused after being removed from a duty finder group. However, please be aware that the Game Masters will be unable to take action if a group member has been removed due to a player dispute, or if the game style differs (I.e. skipping in-game cutscenes, disagreement on using specific boss encounter tactics, equipment deemed not high enough, etc.),

To prevent such incidents from occurring we advise to speak with the group when joining a new group to discuss any specifics that need to be addressed
Also known as their "Opt out of fighting vote kick abuse" method, because the above literally says the only reason they will get involved with this type of conflict is if say you were kicked before you could lot treasure. Which means the number of cases they deem worthy of their time might be once or twice a week.

You learn to get used to this kind of "freeing one self from the hassles of dealing with the public" behavior by SE after a few years, so don't worry it'll be second nature in a few years. Welcome to SE camp!

And if 14 isn't your first SE BBQ then why are you surprised? :x Just curious.

Personally, when I am lead, I only vote to kick if someone is being an a**hole to me or another party member, is trolling the group in a run, is AFK more than 5 min, or is DCed over 8 min.

That was so weird to kick the healer when the pt was 3/4ppl,
    I think in this case you may consider that who still staying in the dungeon were the losers ^^;

I like how everyone is looking at the mechanics part of this fight and not the fact
that the kick system was not working as intended lol. But yeah, tough luck I guess.

I do however agree with Tegan. You can be a little open-minded about different positionings.
You just gotta go with the flow at times on how tanks want to do things.
If you ran it enough then you'd just know where to go lol. Still
    the kick wasn't just.

hmm no, you cannot vote kick twice... so either you did got vote kicked out and your friend left or you are making this story up or leaving out info.

as i just said , you CANNOT vote kick twice, the vote kick system has a cooldown,so the vote kick system is working as intended. also i suspect the OP is leaving out pieces of this story to make himself look innocent. i seen to many threads where someone claim to be a victim, but was a jerk just getting his due.

I've always tanked this guy in the middle, seems like the most logical thing to do given the mechanics imo. As for the vote kick I also doubt we got the whole story in the OP so can't really comment.

There were 4ppl, assume that 2ppl kicked 2ppl?
i.e. tank kicked op then dps kicked healer

Btw, it was not too bad that the pt ended immediately, save op's time and breathe.
Yesterday I got a member just standing there and asked ppl kick him.
No one wanted to kick him but he claimed that he would stand there 60min but would never leave by himself.

I've never heard of people tanking that boss in the middle. In fact, of the many times I've run Stone Vigil, it's always been to the side and we just have the common sense to move behind him when need be it. It's not that hard to dodge, really...

    Same.
As much as the vote kick was unjustified, the boss is actually tankable to the side. As ranged you just have to take it as a rule of thump to stay at the back at mid or max casting range.
