I hate facing a scholar in level 30 pvp as my white mage. I lost 4 games today and all of them were level 30 pvp vs scholars haha. I always try to sleep eos but somehow my team manages to wake her up.
I don't really see a difference between scholar and white mage as my opponent in level 40 or 50 cause I feel regen works the same way as eos does.

As someone else who plays WHM in PvP - yeah, we're basically screwed in 30s because we lack the 'no cast time' curing of Regen, while Scholar sort of has it in Eos.

My win rate skyrocketed when I stopped signing up for 30s, because for the most part a WHM can barely actually do any healing there.

That said, you have Sleep in 30s, and Scholars don't have their Leeches to remove it yet. Take advantage of that. Tell your team you're gonna Swiftcast Sleep Eos and to burn down the Scholar immediately. That's probably your best bet - it's not exactly like Eos can heal while asleep, or purify it, and a Scholar will have to blow cooldowns to heal in 30s, just like you will.

Yes, there's no Esuna. That's about it in terms of disadvantages of having one in 30s, because Eos. Eos means that even when the scholar's being assaulted, no cooldowns have to be blown in order to heal. When you assault Eos, the Scholar heals them.

Which is kinda how healers work. They have to actually be able to heal. The only way a WHM gets to do any healing in 30s is by blowing a cooldown, because you will be interrupted by one of the many attacks headed your way any time you try.

You're a Scholar in PvP, apparently. You should be fully aware of all of this.
