    So am I to understand this..... OP wants longer dungeons... topic turns into rant about how Brayflox isn't going fast enough. DPS maximized by amount pulled for AOE jobs. I feel sorry for the Developers of this game, to read half of these and to go, ok what do they want? I see they are bored due to lack of content, they want short content to get the content that is lacking, yet these groups want longer content, that others will quit because they can't get the content that is lacking.... poor developers.

    You got it wrong, I am the OP and I absolutely do not want longer dungeons. I started this topic because there's this other topic titled "Solutions to stop speedrunning" that was filled with non-sense solutions on game-mecanics. When the only problem is based on people and communications.

    My plan was to make everyone realise it is dumb and somewhat retarded to simply ask for longer dungeons. But I guess my faith in humanity failed me, again, as you can see the popularity of this thread...

    The problem is people, not the dungeons!

    Also, people LOVE to dramatize about anything.

    Again, to make it clear: I'm the OP, This thread is retarded and I purposely made it so with a dumb title. Hopefully someone will wake up somewhere and understand the real problem: communication!



    EDIT: PS: Alcyon1, you can stop trying to argue with RyuDragnier, he's been trolling this thread and "Solutions to stop speedrunning" thread. Nothing he says make sense, he's only here to add drama.

    I generally just want more engaging dungeons, that need to be cleared in a slow, but methodical manner.

    Does anybody actually have any kind of enjoyment when they can just pull 5 packs and be totally fine? Because I don't.

    Maybe above statment was not very polite but I agree that "you can learn how".
    I have had DF with crazy tanks while I tho it must be a wipe in the process, however, I tried my best and found even me a noob could make it. So I really appreciate those experienced players willing to share and execute their expert startegy with me, it's my pleasure. ^^

    I found everything bad usaully starting from inco-operate. A party plays as a team, I hope evey member think more about the party but not only think about himself.

    want to play slow & longer dungeon? Play the level synced ones. They are slow, longer, not to mention that your advanced skill are locked out, and the boredom doing those. lol

    Last time I do Tamtara, I fell asleep midway. No matter how advanced our gears are, it doesn't feel like it thanks to level-sync.

    Exceptions are dungeons starting from Dzemael and up to Aurum Vale, they do pose more challenge, even more challenging than the lvl 50s.

    PS: I created this thread as I see a lot of people are asking for slower dungeons. And they were all posting in the wrong thread, possibly leading SE to false understanding of what people want (if they ever read this forum).     IMO only Coil2 need to be made slower and longer ? ^^;
    I only have heard ppl complains some dungeons are long and boring.

    This. Halatali's HM/Lost City have a nice pace (and I honestly wouldn't mind if they had one more boss). If they could take that pace to the new dungeons and add more interesting/different mechanics - not just for the bosses, but for the whole dungeon - it'd be great.

    we already have total of 22 dungeons, not counting others like primals.

    I haven't played other MMO besides XI & XIV, but how much dungeons does MMO has averagely? Think 22, and 25 with 2.3, are already alot. :?

    In my opinion, none of the dungeons need to be slower and/or longer. You clearly missed my "PS" in small characters. Every complain I get is concerning how people are behaving, never how long a dungeon is.

    Let's take Pharos as example, in a roulette (so with only strangers). This one is getting a lot of hate in my FC, mostly because most healers don't know how to do their job on last boss. And this mean at least 1 wipe, which mean extra time, which is the end of the world for some people (like it or not, some people thinks that way, you can't do a thing about it). The dungeons are all great, but people are all jerks (including myself).

    Just want to throw in a few words.

    1.) I have a Pld Tank with Ilvl 96.
    2.) I hate "speedruns", especially when a dps or heal goes: "please do fast, i have no time, speedrun plx" right at the beginning.
    3.) I Tank in a way i want. If there is a dd / heal doing strange things like masspulling and then calling: "omg pull more noob tank" he gets kicked, df will get us a new one.
    4.) I have done over 100 full Brüll Hm runs until now. Every single one of them was done in a way i want it. How do i want it? Medium Pulls, 2-3 Pulls before first boss, 1-2 pulls before 2nd, 1-2 pulls before last boss. How do i decide? I check my party members. Depending on the overall gear i decide how i tank.
    5.) We do not need longer dungeons. We need more challenging Hm Dungeons, so people can stop qqing about them and the "speedrun-myth-farm-adventure" stops.
