[Suggestion] In combat voice

If you don't like the voices in combat you have an easy option to turn it off, no need to remove it from game for those of us that do enjoy it.

I don't want to turn them off. I like it on my male miqo'te. I'm sure I could find one I like for the female too, but the thing is you have to go through all the opening cutscenes and first quests before you can hear your voice in combat.

It's extremely hard to choose a voice based on the emotes given, I also would prefer if you could cycle through them all.

Wasn't aimed at you, I agree that we should have more voice samples at character creations. Was referring to a few people here that said they'd prefer to have voices in combat removed altogether.

During beta before they changed the sounds you heard they did have combat sounds. Except we all complained cause for the females it sounded like they were having orgasms and was actually pretty embarrassing to choose one without headphones on.

Some of those voices... yeah. I remember a topic or two about them on the Beta forums, and I actually went through listening to all of the voice clips in character creation for both male and female of each race. Without a doubt, at least three of four of each female race sounded like an orgasm during their 'Joy' emote (or was it 'Angry'? Probably both...), while three of four of the male voices sounded like someone had been messing with a voice modulator and made 'em sound like Darth Vader.

my char does this yell when she attacks( I mean actually attacks with a sword or axe or a bow+arrows) that its very cute and hard to take serious....it feels so different from her laugh, cheer and happy sounds

Huh. I guess I'm just not bothered by the sounds. But yeah, being able to hear them before going through the initial cutscene would be good.
